I'm not too good at explaining myself but this game definitely lived up to the original. Characters aren't *as* likeable but were not bad by any means and the new mechanics are a fun addition so gameplay wasn't identical and stale.

Very fun with friends, and still enjoyable by yourself.
Progression is pretty easy so you can get upgrades fairly quickly.

But don't let that fool you, a lot of killers are overpowered unless the one playing as killer is incompetent. Still would recommend though. It's not all that bad.

Although it is a slow paced game. It is very stadegy based and very fun when playing with friends!

Ever since the game was moved under new management (NantG), the developers have recieved creative control over the game, they have been listening to the community and the Season 3 update which brought back all of the PreSeason 3 mechanics, animations, enviroment, etc... is great! If you've never tried Z1 in the past or if you quit because of the Combat Update, right now is a great time to start playing again! You won't regret it!
