>Made an outpost
>Taxed 4k a week by the United Cities.
>Doing well.
>Traders guild sends a diplomat asking for a cut.
>Not a trader so I tell them to piss off.
>They send goons and raid my outpost.
>A day later they send slavers, shackling 6/8 crew.
>Main toon escapes and flees, gathers forces and spends the next in game week rescuing the gang.
>We are now recognized as escaped slaves and are considered 'property' by the United Citites and Traders Guild.
>Destroy the outpost, pack up everything on a bull and head south, where we find a new city governed by the Tech Hunters.

This game has radicalized me and i am now on the warpath to abolish slavery with a mechanized general named Tinfist.

This game won me over.

There are many flaws, but it is a solid attempt at Sekiro in a Bloodborne inspired environment.

The gameplay took me a bit to wrap my head around the Wound Mechanic, but once you understand the "Shield/ Life" healthbar thing they got going, it's easy breasy. But once you start leveling up and investing in Movement and Dodge Skills, the game starts to really shine.

Think of this as a weird side-story to a member of the Clan of Crows from bloodborne, the Hunters of Hunters. (There is even a Plague weapon that emulates the Inviso-roll). The I-frames are very forgiving and the deflect mechanic is also something that i have no complaints over, but also dont use hardly enough. Even so, you have the ability to invest in more time to deflect.

Understanding the mechanics feels like you are breaking the game sometimes, or maybe i'm over leveled?
There are times where i am just tearing through enemies like damp paper, until i find a new enemy (which is usually introduced as an elite) to wipe himself with me. Thinking of these walls as training exercises lets you learn these enemies on hard mode, so that all the lesser versions after are just fodder. Weaker versions, same move sets.

The game is flawed, and i am having a blast.
I personally, like the aesthetic. ... but i used to be an edge-boi in highschool so this is just stupid nostalgia for me.

(Finished the game): My opinions have not changed. The bosses felt challenging but not unfair.
It was fun, i enjoyed this.

After replaying it several times i've come to the conclusion that it makes no difference if you are a fan of the original Bioshock of the 2K Marin Sequel or new to the expirence, there is something here to enjoy. Die-hards of the originals will argue that the game is nothing like it's predecesor, and they are correct, but it's not a bad thing. We lose exploration and replace it with almost a forced direction to continue the story, but there are still small paths to discover and secrets to find. We lose abit of Role-play elements by replacing Limited Plasimds and Tonics with a perk clothing system and purchasable upgrades, but we gained a fast paced and fluid combat system with the aid of Tears and Vigors. We replace the hauntingly charming AI interation between Little Sisters and Big Daddys, but replace it with what seems to be the best Player Interactive AI companion i've every seen.

Bioshock Infinite is not a BAD game, it's a very good game yet still flawed.

But you need to remember that it is nothing like the Originals.
