Early Access Review
writing this on early access launch day after playing two sessions, my impressions:

poggers:
• movement, controls and shooting feels like improved version of l4d
• gameplay felt smooth, fast and very enjoyable from the first minute
• perk system seems like a good addition so far, it's always exciting to find a perk dispenser
• tried a lot of different grenades, all of them are cool
• amazing art style looks awesome even on lowest video settings
• clean and bright colors make it really easy to tell what's happening
• you will always know where to move in the map (which is important), but level design gives you opportunities to investigate side areas for loot (or to get ambushed by a horde of enemies lol)
• in the first map our team was nearly wiped in a few seconds by troll AI that decided to spawn two mini bosses in a tight corridor, <3 this
• game is cheap af compared to b4b

cringe:
• UI is very basic but who cares in early access
• the only significant bug I encountered so far is infinite loading screen that can occur when the game switches levels but this bug is pretty bad and it happened multiple times
• every gun serves its purpose but it would be cool to have a few more guns and pistols
• needs melee weapons because memes

overall pretty sick (in a good way) core gameplay for day 1 early access version. the game improved a lot since the first trailer.
needs some repairs though ofc

Early Access Review
What I like:

• Using weapons feels really good, all of them have their own fun mechanics.
• Rarity system. Some weapons drop with modifiers that can make the weapon even more unique. I once found an overpowered SMG that shoots explosives but has an insane recoil that kicks me back and sends me flying. It was awesome!
• Variety of weapons. This game has so much weapons. From standard shotgun and rifle to swords, bows, magic books, laser rifles, whips, black hole launchers, nuclear weapons, necromantic skulls and cubes that let you trap enemies to make them fight on your side later. I love all of them.
• Variety of maps. Most of the maps are generated with premade assets, and it makes them cool. You can't really develop a strategy for a specific map, you have to explore and be ready to face any enemy every time you enter a new map.
• Visuals. Visual effects that appear when you shoot stuff look juicy. Blood and explosion marks stay on the surfaces until you finish the map, which is also useful for navigating.
• Skill tree. This game has another cute mini game inside it that your character can play to unlock more abilities. I really enjoyed progressing throgh the skill tree, it was a lot more fun than skill point systems in other games.
• Andrew Hulshult. CatJam
• Chanisaw with grappling hook.

What changes I think might benefit the game:

• More secrets per map. It gets easier to spot and collect all secrets on the map. Maybe throw in some levels with more secrets from time to time?
• A humble, simple crafting system I think would fit well. A lot of times when I find a weapon I imagine how cool it would be if I could use some kind of crafting currency to upgrade white weapon to green, or to reroll stats on a weapon. The only way to do it right now is through the creepy white coat random event, and it asks a lot of precious coins that I'd rather use in skill tree.
• New game +, Endless mode, "ultra nightmare", all that juicy endgame stuff.

I enjoyed every minute in this game.
Buy it. Play it. It's great.
