Kill your friends and enemies in comedic slapstick violence with DDR summoned airstrikes, artillery, and heavy arms.

A worthy successor to what was my favourite puzzle game. A GOTY contender that shares a year with BG3 and TOTK.

And a fantastic soundtrack once again.

Cool game. Having played AUtomata first left me wishing Replicant did more to differentiate itself. Or that Automata did. Automata feels like the same game done better. It doesn't wear as thing as quickly. Still, cool game.

Sublime shooter. The Hotline Miami 2 of the Doom series. Shooting, movement, monster design, and soundtrack are all absolutely superb. Some people will like the Slayer's broader toolkit and more demanding insistence that you use the whole arsenal, and some people will find it to be clutter. Take the chance to find out if you're the former or the latter. If you like it you'll love it.

My only complaint is where's my other half a game.

Fantastic game, great gameplay, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ story. Do recommend.

Gimme more, Askiisoft. I'll buy it.

Everything that makes Witcher 3 so good is only improved upon in these expansions. They are even greater examples of CDPR's story and character writing, and mastery in atmosphere and environmental design. They offer flavours not otherwise seen in this game, and benefit tremendously by being more compact tales. Taking the place over a mere ten or twenty hours instead of forty to eighty, they don't groan under their own weight. The central narrative of each remains delightfully focused and present at all times.

New systems add meaningfully to the base game, and new boss fights attempt to create levels of encounter design not seen in the game prior. All of this, wrapped up in being a wonderful send-off for Geralt after a massive adventure, and I cannot help but recommend this expansion pass.

This is the very best of what The Witcher has to offer.

If you want a tight new narrative chapter with a beautifully and massive handcrafted world where you're always finding something new, Mooncrash isn't for you. If you really really loved the gameplay of Prey and you want more of that, more shooting Typhon, more scrounging, salvaging, and crafting, more unlocking and hacking and repairing, Mooncrash is excellent. Unlocking each of hte various characters. filling out their skill tree, and going from barely surviving minimal threats to being a take-all-comers powerhouse no matter which character you pick is a deep joy. Prey never drove you to break its own combat like Mooncrash does, it never pushed you to be aggressive like Mooncrash does, and I loved this new twist on the formula.
