Early Access Review
Very fun. Easy to get lost in the sauce. Big ups to the developers for making a Marvel game that doesn't seem like a shameless cash out. Props to the team for making your card collection grow by upgrading your cards. This is one of the few games that doesn't shove or force you to buy anything necessary for the game, all the microtransactions are optional and basically only for neat alternate arts. Missions are great also, especially since the cost to upgrade cards is so low compared to the rewards you get for the missions (although some missions seem near impossible if you don't have the best cards for the job, but that's also the point of a play to earn game instead of a pay to earn game).
Only issue is the Token Shop giving cards that have very high costs compared to how many tokens you (randomly) get at the beginning of Pool 3. Seems unreasonable to show the Token Shop with (at minimum) 3k token cards when you only get 100 tokens randomly opening chests, but I hear the developers are working on that issue with early Pool 3 players.
8.5/10

PROS:
-Actually fun
-Doesn't shove microstransactions in your face
-Steady progression dependent on you playing and not you paying
-Easy to understand and play
-Multiplatform accessibility (Phone and PC)
-Satisfying mission rewards
-Heavy with most currencies (the ones that actually matter)
CONS:
-Pool 3 has a STEEP playing curve (Past around level ~470)
-Token Shop seems to reward higher leveled players over lower ones disproportionately
-When out of missions, sometimes it feels like there's not much of a goal to work towards besides getting boosters and Season Pass XP (which is low through matches. 1 XP per turn, and 10 XP per location won. If you were to win every match with two Locations won, which is charitable itself, it'd take you about 40 matches to get to the next level With each match taking about 5 minutes, that would take you about 3 hours and 20 minutes to complete one level of the season pass, which is pretty grueling without Missions to supplement that)

Also the Pixel Variants are both the most common variant I've seen in the shop while also being the most ugly. Also did I tell you about the tragedy of Baron Mordo the unplayed?
