it was long thought impossible to port this spaghetti-code western so the fact that it runs in 4k at 120fps on my machine is a miracle

fun game, runs well so far

update after finishing the main story:

no crashes, there were a few spots where performance was a little spotty in cutscenes. overall fun, i thought it lived up to the story of the first 2 games very well. looking forward to the next game whenever that comes out

Beautiful storybook visuals, crunchy XCOM-like tactical combat, and a fully-voiced expansive CRPG campaign. What else do you need?

Early Access Review
Even Valve could learn a thing or two here, it kind of ruined the gunplay in Alyx for me - that's how good this is. I wish every FPSVR dev would study this game as a masterclass. This is the definitive bar that everyone will be struggling to meet for years to come as far as realistically & satisfyingly modeling firearms for VR.
