I can't say I can recommend this game. It's a decent game and if you are new to Subnautica you'll most likely like it. However, this game is not as good as the first.

To make it as spoiler free as possible, the vehicles are not as interesting as the first game. They focus more on land exploration in this one, which is weird as it literally is named Subnautica. I spent 3-4 hours navigating the islands as its just all over the place. Navigating underwater is also a lot harder in this one.

Now onto the main problem:

Subnautica is a scary game during your first playthrough, because you don't know what is out there. This is what makes the original game so good. For some reason the game designer regret his decision on not using a female protagonist in the first one (I don't know why it's important, never noticed the guy I was playing as in the first one) and as a result of this, they went all out with voice acting in this one to show us that they have a female protagonist. This ruins the game in a major way as you went from feeling alone in the dark depths to having someone be there with you and commenting on every single thing you find, making the game less scary. The design of the leviathans in this game is not as good as the first one..they're simply not as scary. I just drive right past them after they attack.

My issues with this game is that I compare it to the first one, which is natural as it is a sequel.

If this is your first Subnautica game then go ahead and play it, if it's not... then I can't recommend it to you.

Got quite addicted to it like that one guy that bought 15 grams of fet in a day.

After 3 playthroughs of this game I'm ready to review it.

This game has given me 100+ hours of entertainment and I will probably play it again in a year or so, it's that good.

Base building is simple yet you can be really creative. The crafting is really enjoyable and you feel rewarded when going out of your safe zone to find materials. Some animals are beautiful and some are really scary..and big. The different biomes are so well done, huge contrast between them and feels very unique to what I've experienced in other games. It's a challenge keeping your finger off F12. The lore is really interesting, although theres too much reading for my taste.

It's not flawless though, I'm still struggling with some fps drops and crashes but I'm sure they'll fix that. Theres no autosave in regular survival mode so you have to save frequently, you don't want to lose hours of progression.

Yes helo i am form EUW and i can proudly say that i am a pro in MOBA gaems. I play a lot of leauge of legen, but this game is nothing like leauge of legen. When u start game it say "helo have u played this gam b4??" I answer "No but i hav play the advanced battle arena simulator Leauge of Legen. So I kno what I do." But what dota 2 does not tell u abot this gaem when u press leauge of legen is dat they put evetyingh on high difficulty. How can we play a game tha is new to uss and they expecrct us to be gods. It is not fare. Obviouslyyyy leauge of legen require mor skill, i would almost say dota 2 is easier than heroes of the storm, but i am not going ther. So my advice is go play leyg of gelgend and become a rel godlike pro-player in almost evrygame. The bots even r bettr then FAKER and Bjergsen. How can i play versusu this. it is disgrace.
