Not my jam. Minigames felt like busy work with some results largely based on chance. Visually stunning but the world behind it felt bare. A UI worth salivating over followed by shallow mechanics. Voice acting was top notch but the writing felt forced.

Some games are dripping with atmosphere, this one is absolutely soaked.

A very good game that could have been excellent.
Elements of the survival genre felt like a cheap way to bloat an experience that could have been half as long and twice as impactful. Those mechanics that frustrate me however are well implemented.
The tetris inventory is sublime. Crafting tree is cool, and well paced for the story. All the UI elements are seething with style and just enjoyable to explore and use.
The sound design is absolutely incredible and helps set the scene in a very intriguing world.
But boy did I start to grow bored by the same copy pasted trailers that fills the levels, housing the resources required to push the survival mechanics. That might have been remedied by a world which wasn't quite so benign once you grew familiar with it's tricks.

I haven't stopped thinking about it since I played.

My only complaint is that I was not introduced to Project Zomboid earlier.

I beat this game a month ago and I can't stop thinking about it.

Incredibly fun with friends. Love the depth and complexity of gameplay. Excited to see what the devs have in store for the future. Worth full price.
