A delightful cozy mystery appropriate for all ages. I finished this in four hours and I can honestly say I'm ready for a sequel.

If you like "The Room" games, you should enjoy this Sci-Fi cousin. Essentially an appetizer for the larger Machinika Atlas coming later, this is a fast run you can finish in a couple hours.

Very few things not to like in this game that can't be ironed over the course of post-launch development.
It's not as good as TTRPG, but it is excellent for what it is as an RPG point-n-click. Bravo Team Baldur's Gate!

This is a great interactive game perfect for Twitch but equally fun in a private setting like a Discord server. The events that the King and Council must navigate are random, but not always unconnected. As the developers work on this there are more and more story threads being added.

This game fully supports diversity. You can design your look to pretty well cover the basic He/She/They choices. Even the "King" can be a Queen and all romance options are open to all monarchs.

The game hinges on a super easy voting mechanic. The monarch can try to persuade, cajole or veto players into one option or another but very rarely is any outcome a given.

Between the rounds (called Seasons) the King can tax the people, the Council can opt to fund structures, the factions can work on their assorted plots. All this proceeds until the King reaches their goal, or the players dethrone the king in favor of their chosen replacement.

Lots of fun, easy to play, not expensive to purchase (so easily giftable). Go get this and not only have a lot of fun, but help support small studio game development!

Early Access Review
I would not recommend playing the PC version of Marvel SNAP. This is a poor import of the app game which runs much better on phones. The PC edition does not show you the news, inbox, or other features that the phone edition does and the marketplace is sometimes glitchy. I enjoy playing Marvel SNAP, but as much as I would enjoy it MORE on the PC - easier to see, more comfortable to use, etc etc, the sad edition they currently have out here is NOT WORTH YOUR TIME.

Beautiful Steampunk-flavored art and story line. Wonderful voice acting. Easy to play mechanic. This is a game that anyone of about any age could get into and play easy, even if the game itself isn't. I'm not done yet only because I've been rationing this out like a sweet candy. This game - this company - understands Steampunk so well that as someone who loves the aesthetic, I can't help but love this thing and hope they are moved to make more games of the same high quality and playability. Thanks guys!

I am not recommending this game because the company ditched online multiplayer last year, I can't play this with my gaming friends in several different time zones. If I wanted to play this solo, I'd pull out the cards from the box behind me. I'm very sorry that the company made this decision (their comments found here: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/766040/view/2974049280340905566 ). I can only hope they have more robust support for any other games they may be developing in the future.

The voice acting is phenomenal and fun. The story is well plotted and tight. I'm not done but I am enjoying this a great deal. This is a great representation of the Cthulhu mythos and nice suspenseful mystery.

That said, the camera angles are sometimes awkward and there is no looking up or down. Every little thing you touch hurts your sanity! These are some of the most fragile human beings you'll ever meet and they never "get better" at not having an aneurysm over the same stimulus. If someone comes at you the first time, yeah scary, but when you're fighting your 20th cultist maybe not as earthshaking? I don't feel that my characters should be driven to multiple aneurysms simply by interacting with every single potential clue.
