FTL: Faster Than Light

In this review I'm just going to call it "FTL".

So, let's get to the actual review...
At first I thought this game looked kind of boring. But after making some research I found it to be quite interesting, and when it showed up as a daily deal on some Steam Sale which I can't remember, I bought it, cheap! It turned out to be worth it. I haven't put in that many hours into this game, but the hours I've played have really convinced me. I'm quite fond of these games in which you spawn in a world that is randomly generated (Some other examples; Super House of Dead Ninjas* and Binding of Isaac**). I think it's way better for a game to have lots of replayability than a superb story. One exception is Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons*** which is just perfect. Simply.

FTL is an action/strategy game in which you take control of a spaceship, wanted by the rebels. The game has a goal, and that is to destroy ("kill" if you prefer that term) the Rebel Flagship, who is kind of a Boss in any other game. To get there you must travel through 8 sectors. A sector consists of a map with small dots in which you can travel between using your FTL jump. At some of these dots you will find merchants, enemies, quests and just loot. I find the combat system rather amusing with a lot of different weapons to choose from and different tactics to try.

Overall this game is quite amusing with lots of potential replayability and good combat system. The unlocking system can be a bit unfair since you can only unlock some ships throughout random events in the game. I would recommend this game for all kinds of players.

I would give this game 9/10 since it has great combat system and overall game mechanics although it can be a bit challenging and unfair sometimes.

Get this game! Boom! Review done!

This is one of my favorite games, it has everything you need, a good history and SUPERB gameplay. And also the creator is Swedish (Like me), what more can you ask for? That's correct, basically nothing.

Let's get to the serious part...

This is a game created by a famous Swedish film director, called Josef Fares ("Kopps" and "Farsan" are his most famous movies). You follow two brothers on their journey to find some plants to save their dying father. They meet all kinds of danger, everything from trolls to big spiders.

An interesting thing with this game is that you play two characters simultaneously (You need a controller to play this game, as far as I'm aware), you control one character with the left part of your controller and the other one with the right part of your controller. At first I was a bit sceptic to that mechanic, but then I tried it out, and oh man it works good! To complete the game it takes about 3 hours (at least it took 3 hours for me). It has some REALLY amazing puzzles where you need to control both brothers to continue. You can use a PlayStation 3 controller by downloading some programs (NOTE: You need to plug in the controller into an USB port).

I would give this 10/10, as I haven't find any major bugs or glitches.

Binding of Isaac is a really good game at least according to me. It's never boring, no run is the same. There is a total of 198 items in BoI and they're all different. 6 different characters to play (7 if you count Samson, the DLC character) and all of them have different stats, starting items and such. In the beginning it CAN be a bit hard to learn all of the bosses/enemies attacks and how to dodge them, but after playing a while you will know everything about your enemies! I haven't found any bugs (Played this game for ~70 hours) or glitches, there's some "glitches" but... It's stupid to call them "glitches", you should rather call them like "tricks". For an example; if you want your bomb to get bigger blast radius, you can place the bomb and reenter the room. This will make your bomb blast radius bigger. I would give this game 10/10 since it's SO ******* GOOD!

Something you should remember: You CAN'T save your run, if you exit your current Isaac will die!
