Devilishly clever, deeply immersive, immediately puts you in the middle of a mystery with lots of threads to pull at, grounded in a clear love for Irish history and folklore. Some character mysteries are more lacking compared to others, but overall it's a very charming cast and digging into their relationships with each other is gratifying.

I found the final solution to the mystery a bit anticlimatic as a puzzle, but I still enjoyed the overall story and the ride to get there, and greatly enjoyed unravelling all the other mysteries inbetween. This game takes some great mechanical lessons from a few other recent mystery/detective indie hits and putting them together to great effect. I expect to see other games building on this game's formula in the future, and I'm looking forward to it.

Dungeon crawler meets typing tutor, very light-hearted and silly despite it's appearances. Witty, charming, and gives surprising depth to a world and to characters that don't speak. Our titular Cryptmaster is, of course, wonderful.

I've a soft spot for typing games and word games and had a lot of fun with this. Lots of accessibility options, but I wish there were more options to make the game more challenging. I found some riddles frustrating but they're awlays optional and aside from a few minor hiccups the game's main throughline was thoroughly enjoyable.. Lots of loose ends and extra puzzles that I'll someday return to solve, as well.

Charming, sharply written, dense little puzzle box that's very easy to get into and full of intrigue without being too overwhelming. I picked this up to play with a friend over stream and it worked out very well to have someone to bounce ideas off of, and also be able to have two people each egging each other on to do very bad things.

Wonderful detective game. Played it for literally 9 hours straight when I first launched it and finished it the next day after lots of aggressive note-taking.

Beating the game left me feeling crushed and in complete despair.

Was smiling a little by the end of the credits. 10/10. Already playing again.
