Feel's like someone's abandoned first attempt at making a video game. Cause even after these many years, it's still janky as heck.

I first saw this game in a youtube video from a guy named Josh many years ago. And it sat in my library for a while. But now having played it for a bit, I have come to determine that this game lacks substance.

In comparison to A-tier factory games like Factorio or Satisfactory, this is a C-tier, or even D-tier game. Despite recognizing all the effort that was put in into this game, it still leaves you disapointed.

Barely got into the game until someone explained the tragic history of this game and it's many security risks. It looks very cute and cozy. I've even been told how much this game has done to revive the chatroom genre. But, the aforementioned history make the gaming experience sus.

My only other experience with Total War was Rome. But here I bought all of the games in the discounted bundle and decided to play in release order.

Oh. My. God! This game is fantastic! Despite being over 2 decades old, lacking the definition of more modern TW instalments, it still kicks ass! I've only played so much of it at this point in the review, but I'm already deeply in love. They don't make them like this anymore.

Yeah... this is a tech demo. Minecraft can also be played with Shaders if your PC can manage it. But, the Vanilla experience will always be superior.

To understand how good this game is, I will compare Hollow Knight to The Hobbit, and Silksong to The Lord of the Rings.

Started very strong. But with every subsequent episode, it became ever more disappointing, with 7 and 8 being very meh. The story and its ideas had a lot of potential, but given the restrictions of a Telltale-style game and the dispatch minigame, it was hard to develop them meaningfully. My commendations to the team for not failing completely; the game is a general success. But under closer scrutiny, it's just your average junk-food scenario. Everyone eats it, and then promptly moves on to greater things.
