Game is fine, game is good.

However, the queue times are insane, so, till this is fixed, stay away.

Later Edit: Game is pay to win and, it's VERY GREEDY! That is, if you want to feel that you have some progress in Lost Ark. You can also go by as a free to play user, but it will take you months of grind to reach an item level that allows you to do part of the end game activities (there's no chance of you playing newly resleased activities / events that are just about to be released).

Later edit: don't bother with the game, it's not worth it and fixes seem to make game worse instead of better. Wait 1 year, maybe it will have solved most of the issues.

The game, in it's current state, is about a 7/8 out of 10. It's basically Horizon 4 with improvements to the graphical engine and physics engine.

The new location is great, the biomes are outstanding and you have much more freedom than you had in Horizon 4. You don't have to go through a 4-6h tutorial that doesn't allow you to play with friends. After a few introductory races, you can start playing with friends, which brings us to the bad.. connectivity issues.

The game right now is plagued by connectivity issues, random disconnects from the servers, alert error messages that don't display anything, friends not being able to play races due to those disconnects.. it's pretty bad, but solvable.

There are also issues with memory leaks (which lead to poor performance or crahes), random and not so random crashes (like when changing parts on your car or bodykits multiple times) and texture quality issues when playing the game a bit longer.

The other problem in the game is AI, which is infuriating sometimes. If you played Horizon 4 on Unbeatable or Pro difficulty, expect a shock. AI is just cheating, right in front of your eyes, with cars being on rails on higher difficulties, which cheapens your experience. Get ready to play on Highly Skilled difficulty for a time, if you want to win races :).

With all being said, i still recommend the game, i enjoy it and i expect that these problems are solved in maybe.. 3 months tops?

Car controls are super bad and it does not make for a fun driving experience.

I would recommend you buy this game in 6-12 months from now, the servers are really bad! In 2 days i had ONE session in which i could play for more than 1h.

Despite all the minor bugs (and there are lots of them), the game is very good and it's worth a buy! The world and the quests are just AMAZING!
