Tom Oates is the best.

I was born into a family of royalty. My father, Arthus Ja, ruled his kingdom with an iron fist. He was the most powerful force in the world and fought to stay that way. Anyone who defied him would be crushed by his army. He had two sons, me, Evan, and my brother George. Years we lived in the royal castle as we watched our father rule over our kingdom. He conquored many other kingdoms, expanding our empire while also ruthlessly defending what we currently had. He was the most power man who had ever lived. One day, something happened that would change the lives of everyone in our kingdom. My father became ill, and was no longer fit to rule. Lying on his death bed, he tells both me and George his dying wish. He wanted us to fight to see who was the most fit to be the king. I still remember his dying words, weakened by the burden of death but still so powerful and sincere that I knew the importance of the situation. "George...Evan. The kingdom will fall into chaos without a powerful king to force them into order. One of you must take my place. My most powerful son must take my place! You must fight to see who is the stongest. It is the only way to preserve this era of complete control." He stared at George and I with fire in his eyes, shaking with the hope that his power will be past on. A sigh let out of his body and his soul as he slipped into eternal darkness. My brother and I both knew what needed to be done. The duel took place in the castle's courtyard. A small band of noblemen came to spectate the match. "I have to be king" I said to myself. "I must, because I am the strongest." Our swords collided. I put everything I had into that fight, but I was brought to the ground. He could have killed me then, but chose to spare me and banish me from the kingdom instead. I had lost...I wanted him to kill me. There was no point to live if I coudn't become king, but then I realized something. I can always become stronger. Even if I come back in five years and I still can't beat him, I can always try again until my final battle. People always give into defeat. They think it's the end, that there's no hope of becoming better, but I think defeat is one of the greatest gifts I have been given. Defeat is just an excuse to become stronger. Defeat is what gives people something to overcome, to surpass. Now my brother may be the king of the world, but as long as I have something to take me down I can build myself right back up stronger than I was before. I can become stronger and stronger until there's no one stronger than me. I will be the strongest. I will become king.
