Civ if it was interesting. Seriously feels likes the evolution the series should've gone in forever ago. They keep adding DLC that makes me go "dang that's exactly what I wanted".

have been waiting for this one and im so glad it's out because i cannot put it down. very interesting story that keeps you engaged, superb atmosphere and a ton of features for the price. def one of the few games i cant pull myself away from in 2024.

fantastic RPG that manages to create a more lively world than most recent AAA offerings. wasn't sure how well a text based RPG would hold my attention but I couldnt put it down and I'm excited to dive into more playthroughs

I've never played a rogue-like with this much variety between runs. Regardless of how far you make it before death, it always feels like progress is being made. I played before the G&D update and the new loot tables are terrific. Weapons are fun to use and very varied, the controls are slick, it plays excellently on a DS4; honestly the blood, sweat and tears amount of effort put into this game is evident in every aspect. I mean ♥♥♥♥, I didn't even like bullet-hells and actively stayed away from the genre but I can't put EtG down. If you are worried this is another basic indie rogue-fad game then rest assured because it is not. Every single time I see a new item excitement rushes through me and every run I see new items. It's fresh even though it's been out for 3 years. The synergies add a new depth of mechanics that are great to discover and can vastly change your strategy.

Personal fav? Sniper Rifle + Scope = 360 Yes Scope. Every time you spin your character you get a stacking damage bonus

It'd be great if it ran without crashing every 5 minutes. The concept I've encountered are genuinely fresh and I loved them until the 4th time it crashed on me after only playing for 5 minutes.
