> Bought during Steam Sale (well worth it).
> Linked up with an old mate for some classic co-op vibes.
> AXIS INVASION MODE
> [Addiction warning]: Game's so good, got me thinking about it during my dayjob & lost sleep on the weeknights. Take it as you will.

Coming from playing SE4 (and fairly seasoned), this one is a little less 'snappy'/responsive in the smoothness of gameplay, but definitely compensates on the new features/mprovements in weapon customization, missions and my personal favourite: Axis Invasion mode.

Hunting a lone online player just minding his/her business playing a campaign mission is just brilliant. Some playthroughs can last >1 hour, others last <5 mins. But the REAL thrill is when an online Axis Sniper invades YOUR mission. If there's a game where you're seeking some quick adrenaline & putting your tacticool awareness skills to the test, look no further.

Weapon selection is a bit lacking but backed up with a versatile customization. DLCs are available but I would suggest thinking twice before purchasing them (even on a discount).

Campaign maps are ASTONISHINGLY WELL DESIGNED. The detail, ambience, sound atmosphere is just pure talent & hard work. Sometimes really feels like you're walking through a work of art whilst taking out Nazis every other corner.

Overall: 8.5/10
A well-made sequel, but i.m.o not enough to be throned as the best in series.

Got the full GOTY Edition during Steam sale.

+ Very addictive gameplay.
+ Really hits the spot in terms of replayability.
+ A plethora of things to accomplish, challenges to beat, high scores to surpass.
+ Maps are very intricately designed, down to individual assets (NPCs, objects, weapons, items placement etc.)
+ Superb value-of-money if this was the only title in your library and you're a gaming addict.

!!!!!!!
Unfortunately, the game CRASHES a fairly frequently (and I'm using a Samsung 860 EVO SSD). Worst of all is when it happens during UNSAVEABLE playthroughs (you know which game mode).

Your mood's instantly spoilt knowing that you're having a HITMAN sesh and you're racing against a POTENTIAL GAME CRASH. Would've spent more hours on this game but yeah, I've had enough disappointment from my grinding runs just disappearing abruptly.

This is downright one of the most refreshing games released in a long time, and it simply hits the right buttons.

3rd person adventure game, playing as a cat in a cyberpunk-esque, post-human dystopian world.
What's not to like?

HIGHLIGHTS:
- Graphics are SPECTACULAR. Crisp detail behind every single prop and well-balanced ambient lighting all around simply makes Stray a screenshot haven.
- Storyline is captivating, yet not too overwhelming. Each chapter played would instinctively want you to recap your last playthrough.
- Interesting puzzles throughout all chapters which keep the playthroughs interesting, but nothing overly challenging.
- Fair amount of side quests to get you sidetracked and explore the map before you proceed with the main objectives.

ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT:
- Game mechanics become buggy/glitchy at times, but nothing too critical.
- Background music... intermittently stops when traversing through certain areas (ruins immersion).
- Certain controls (e.g: Inventory & Help Menu) do not respond sometimes during certain sessions.

Overall, Stray manages to successfully pull off a magical game where you just wanna escape reality and immerse yourself in a world that people could have only dreamt of before.

A bit late to the party, but 5 years later this game apparently still kicks ass!

As a GR: Wildlands veteran, playing SE4 takes me back to 2017 when I was roaming Bolivia hunting for narcs every other day. Ton of replay-ability for a single title. Great story and voice casting too.

Probably one of the best Steam Summer Sale gifts I've gotten in a while.
Thanks (ya know who you are)!

Supposedly dubbed as the 'WW2 version' of SQUAD.

The general gameplay & combat is unforgiving most of the time.
The sort of game which you'll GENERALLY be:
> running for 5-10 mins to get to frontline or strategic position
> get shot / sniped outta nowhere suddenly
> Stare into the black 'You Are Dead' screen and question whether you really enjoy this game or not.

A lot of campers and cheap shooters (because that's how war is won hey).
Just like SQUAD, it's probably more fun when there's proper teamwork & comms happening.

Overall: 3.5/5
Would only play if the mates are keen for a session.

stronk throwback to the mid-2000s internet life.

Absolute classic.
It's like chess, but with shooter elements & situational tactics applied. Character (squad) progression is also another reason to invest your time into this game, but don't get TOO overly-attached to them...
