It has been roughly 12 years since I first picked up Heavy Rain, back before I had a family of my own. You play a lot of games in a lifetime, and usually, they fade from memory once the credits roll. But this one? This one planted a seed in the back of my brain that I didn't even realize was there until years later.

A Lesson for Real Life Now that I am a father of two, I realize Heavy Rain wasn’t just a game; it was a warning. There is a specific, haunting atmosphere in the prologue—the crowded mall and the separation - that terrified me then, but defines me now.

Every time I take my kids to the park, I get a flashback to this game. While other parents might be scrolling through their phones or chatting to each other without looking over their kids, Heavy Rain plays in my head like a safety alarm. It keeps me hyper-focused. I never take my eyes off them, not even for a minute. The game did an incredible job of simulating that split-second panic where a child disappears, and it instilled a rule in me that I follow religiously: never leave them unsupervised.

A huge part of this immersion comes from the voice acting and direction. The desperation in Ethan Mars’ voice feels so real. When you are pushing buttons to call out for your son, it doesn't feel like a mechanic; it feels like raw panic. The pain in his voice is so real that, as a parent, it is almost difficult to listen to. You feel his helplessness in your gut.

Beyond the emotional weight, this is a top-tier thriller. The narrative is a rollercoaster, and I have to mention the ending. I pride myself on guessing movie endings, but the plot twist at the end of Heavy Rain completely floored me. I genuinely did not see it coming.

Heavy Rain is unforgettable experience. It is a masterpiece that not only entertained me but actually made me a better, more attentive father.

This review is too personal, i know. Sorry.

I’ve been playing Football Manager for many years. I’ve always been happy to pay for the yearly updates and database refreshes. Some might find that silly, but honestly, I’ve always had fun — whenever I didn’t know what to play, FM was there. So, how is FM26? Long story short: full of broken promises.

I’ve actually refunded the game twice, yet still bought it again, because part of me naively believes that maybe, just maybe, they’ll fix the issues that 80% of players are complaining about. (The remaining 20% act like wet fans blindly supporting anything without reason or independent thought.)

Let’s start with the “new, great, and modern-looking” UI. It’s absolute rubbish. I like innovation. I like modern design. I’m not resistant to change. But man
even if I agree it looks modern — full of boxes, fixed colours, and flat design — it’s far from functional. It’s not responsive, not user-friendly, and honestly feels like a console or mobile port. It’s even easier to play on my laptop’s touchscreen than with a mouse, which says a lot.
I could talk about the UI for hours: it’s poorly structured, filled with submenus that bury basic options, lags constantly, Forward and Back buttons only works sometimes and sometimes you want to close the box with results and it skips the day.. Texts don’t display fully, layouts are inconsistent, and sorting players A–Z even changes their nationalities! It’s a mess.

And that’s not all. SI promised nothing would be removed — only improved. Yet we’ve lost basic features. We can’t shout at players during matches anymore. It now feels like watching a "bad looking" match on TV, completely detached from our team’s performance. Sure, we can change tactics or make substitutions, but we can’t motivate or encourage players. Why? Who knows. We also can’t manage national teams — even with a FIFA license and in a World Cup year. I can already smell the “optional DLC” coming (probably paid, of course). Instead, we got women’s football — which is absolutely fine and makes sense to include. But SI promised it wouldn’t be forced. And yet, even after unticking all the women’s leagues, the game still includes the women’s database and simulations in the background, slowing down my save. So “not forced” apparently means “you can untick it, but it’s still there.” Well played.

There are so many problems. And yes, the usual defense is, “It’s just a beta!” Except, now it’s not — the full game has released, and the same issues remain.

The new match engine, supposedly FM26’s big flagship feature, isn’t much to brag about either. If this was the main reason to switch to Unity, maybe they should have stayed with their previous engine. Graphically, the game still looks like it’s from 2010 — but that was never the problem. FM has always been about depth, data, and a clean, functional UI that makes managing your team enjoyable.

This time, though, it’s different. I’ve given it a fair chance — over around 25 hours — but the UI still feels clunky, confusing, and frustrating. I doubt my opinion will change.

This release feels like a massive step backward for a beloved series. I really want to believe that SI listens to the community — but after the backlash about the new UI, their response was to release a “Mastering the New UI” tutorial. That honestly felt like a spit in the face, as if they’re saying we’re the problem. We know how to use the new UI. We just don’t like it. Stop pretending otherwise.

Even after all these hours, I keep discovering more and more missing features from previous versions — every time I stumble upon another one, it just gets more frustrating. Sadly, this no longer feels like the Football Manager I've loved; it feels like a stripped-down, unfinished console version wearing a "shiny" new skin (which, hopefully, the community will handle better than the developers this year). Unless something changes drastically, this might be the first FM I won’t be coming back to.

I really wanted to like this game, but I honestly can’t find much positive to say. Despite what some people claim, this isn’t just a ‘trans propaganda’ game. The premise of uncovering old memories had potential, and the visuals are definitely the highlight — not AAA quality, but a clear improvement over DONTNOD’s previous titles, with some beautiful details and atmosphere. Unfortunately, that’s where the praise ends.

The controls are weird and inconsistent, making it a struggle to move or interact with anything. The so-called “memory mechanic" is awkward, and dialogue options feel unresponsive. Gameplay itself is painfully slow — and while DONTNOD’s games usually take their time, this one drags endlessly. The storybook theme quickly becomes stupid and childish, and the constant back-and-forth commentary during exploration ruins immersion.

Plot pacing is frustrating too — characters take forever to realise the obvious, choices barely matter, and whatever you pick, the story still ends up the same. It makes you wonder why they even bothered with a choice system at all.

I finished the game hoping for at least a satisfying ending, but even that fell flat. And to top it off, the most ridiculous thing of all — you need to be connected to the internet to play this single-player story game. I usually play online, but that design choice is just bizarre.

Overall, a disappointing and frustrating experience I can’t recommend. If you just want to see beautiful Alaska — and for some reason don’t want to use YouTube — you can buy this game. The environment really is beautiful. 3/10

Btw, the description "Tell Me Why is the multi-award-winning episodic adventure game" is really funny. The so-called multi-award-winning title actually won for "Games for Impact" and "Outstanding Video Game highlighting themes and representation of LGBTQ+ characters". I recommend looking at the titles Tell Me why beat — it’s ridiculous to even promote these as real “awards.”

7 Days to Die is one of those games I always end up returning to. No matter how many other games I try, there’s something special about starting fresh here — scavenging for supplies, working on a base, and surviving those first few nights. Honestly, the early game is my favourite part; I don’t think I’ve ever made it past day 14, but that’s kind of the beauty of it. I don't like having all equipment, so that is why I always start a new game, it gets boring with AK47 - no skill needed like with a bow.

The new update with the biomes has been a lot of fun for me. I know it’s stirred up some debate in the community, but I really appreciate that the developers are still trying new ways to make the game interesting and expanding after all these years. It makes the world feel more alive and varied, and it’s great to see the project still getting love and attention.

I’ve played it on PlayStation too, but for me, the PC version is where it truly shines — smoother performance, and just overall a better survival experience.

If you enjoy survival games where every new start feels like an adventure, 7 Days to Die is absolutely worth your time. It’s not perfect, but it’s one of those rare games that keeps pulling me back again and again.

EA’s promises are already broken, and we’re not even out of early access yet
 ridiculous.

They promised a fair UT power curve and claimed they wanted to keep prices higher. But just three days into FUT, we already have one of the biggest packs in the store. Top players are losing value like crazy. EA listened, promised, and still managed to make even worse decisions than last year.

My opponent leaving the match when it's 0-0 gives me a loss — kind of annoying, especially in the final of a draft or that stupid early access tournament. It's even more frustrating when EA promoted their 'improved match leaving results' as something great and fair this time. Worst studio ever.

Buying FIFA EAFC or whatever every year is the perfect example of Vaas’s definition of insanity - because it’s true: every player thinks, ‘This year it’s going to be different.’ NO, IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE..

I loved the original Black Mirror trilogy, but this 'reboot' feels like something completely different, the charm and magic of original dark and mysterious story is gone. I understand they tried to change the mechanics to make it more suitable for a new generation, but how can something so enjoyable end up as complete rubbish? This game is a big miss.

I have really high hopes for the upcoming Black Mirror (Posel smrti: Pouto krve) from the original creators—not just THQ grabbing nostalgia money from fans.

If this is the only DLC difference between the standard and deluxe editions of the game, don’t bother going for the deluxe edition — it’s a waste of money.
