Early Access Review
At the time of writing this, I haven't played for all that long, but this game is a good way to experience some scares if you've got a small group of friends to play with. It can be difficult when solo, but gathering a couple buddies can help out. If you're a fan of shows like Ghost Adventures, it might be worth picking this game up.

This is a beautiful game that I consider to be my absolute favorite, and I've played it loads of times on the PS3 where it was originally released. Beautiful visual and sound design and a lovely story expressed without any words. I keep finding myself coming back to this game when I want to relax and find some other wholesome people to feel some emotion with. Wonderful game that I definitely recommend picking up.

Simple art style that's easy on the eyes and adds a goofy element that makes it fun. Really good to play with friends, and relatively easy to learn. Definitely recommend.

While this game is free to play, it's not worth the space being taken up in your library or computer. The best thing I can compare this game to is Roblox and Roblox is a million times better than this.

I only played a few minutes so maybe I'm just missing the really good stuff but honestly from what I played I had a strong feeling that there wasn't a whole lot else. As said, similar to Roblox, it's basically just a hub where there are different games and servers within those games. The majority of the ones I saw were empty, boring, or somewhat broken (Example: A tutorial world I joined asked for a password on a piece of paper that was meant to be given to you, which you don't have. Another person ended up guessing the password and told it to me). I'm the type of person who enjoys games where there's not always a whole lot to do. The Isle, Roblox, VRChat, etc. as some examples, but Ylands is really just boring.

It's not like you're losing anything with this since it's free, but maybe reading some of these reviews will save you some time.

As a side note, I had read that people paid for this game in the early access stage and now it's here in a free form with microtransactions. I'm sorry for anyone who had to pay for this in any way. Maybe Bohemia Interactive should stick with DayZ.

I thouroughly enjoy space exploration games, and this is by far my favorite one.
I recieved this game as a gift from an old friend of mine a while back, though if I had the money I would definitely have bought this on my own. It deserves it.

Everything runs smoothly for me, despite me having only a weak laptop. All of the stars are beautiful and bright, each of the planets loom over you, the rings on some look vast and dusty, and so on. It all is astonishing.

The missions found at stations are all simple tasks that are easy enough that you don't feel like their a burden, and they give a decent reward. Traveling is quick and easy, and don't use too much fuel if you're smart about it. Zooming up towards a star when coming out of a warp is excitingly scary.

Combat is a little frustrating, which is really one of the only problems I have with this game. However, I do know that with proper controls and some more practice, one can be very proficient at fighting.

Overall, I love this game and would recommend it to anyone who loves outer space and other such things.

I've only played this for a few minutes, but in that few, I was not happy with what I saw. This may just be my computer, but the game isn't very well optimized unless you want to play as if you are just staring at a field of potatoes. The whole thing seemed pretty generic for an MMO. The combat was slow and not very exciting, as I could just stand there and hit the enemy with attacks that didn't chain together very well. Overall it just doesn't bring anything new to the table in the MMO genre as far as I saw.
Really the only thing I enjoyed in this game was making my character, but even then the customization was focused around the head/face with the exception of changing your character's "build." (which really was just changing the height)

Go play TERA or Dragon's Nest. Those two are a lot better than this game.

Good game, interesting concept. I've always been a fan of games that have monster against surviver such as this, or Evolve. However, I've noticed that the Lurker and Phantom are somewhat OP while Mary and the Fallen are rather difficult to play as they have to set traps.
