The Binding of Isaac is unarguably one of the best video games ever produced.

If you're seeking a game that is challenging, infinitely replayable, enjoyable, and portable, this is it.

Your ability to play is a core part of the progression. The game itself unlocks more levels, more characters, more enemies, more layouts, more playstyle's as you get better and complete more challenges ahead. After beating each little or big challenge, it rewards you with sick items that make incredible synergies with existing items and ones you will get in future runs, making it a joy too big to stop playing.

No run is the same as it is heavy rogue-like, but you will feel how much you progress throughout, be it you not taking hits by playing better, or getting new enemies/bosses and even levels you've just unlocked.

Each step of a complete journey presents a never ending variety of challenges that teach and test your skills simultaneously.

From the story, to the characters, to the environment, to the music, to the items and their cosmetics, to a large amount of references you may know, all amazingly put together in cute package that makes the game feel amazing and super appealing to come back.

You will never forget little Isaac I promise.

Overall stellar game, a mandatory one for the library of games in my book. 👌

The true definition of what a video game remake should be.
It captures what the original stood for, a true survival horror experience with amazing scenarios and gameplay. This time with over the shoulder camera instead of fixed angles. You can't replicate the beauty of fixed angles in a normal 3D, but this title made it work very well.

The remake capitalises on some flaws the original had, whilst having a few downgrades of it's own, although nothing deterring from the amazing experience it provides.
