ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Hunt: Showdown is one of the most unique games I've ever played. The gun design, map design, and audio design are top notch. The game is simultaneously the most rewarding game and most frustrating game to play.

It will take some time commitment to feel as though you know what you're doing out in the bayou, but if you can commit that time, you will have some of the most amazing and intense gunfights in any shooter ever.

It's not without it's downsides though.

The biggest issue I currently have with hunt is the trade window. With it's less than ideal servers and intentional implementation of a very large trade window, playing this game some nights just feels like rolling the dice on whether or not your session will be filled with trade after trade.

With that said, it's still the best shooter I've ever played and I highly recommend buying it if you like the aesthetic of a bayou filled with monsters that has slower paced game play.
