An important experience that deserves infinitely more recognition.

I really liked the look of this game and the premise of replenishing life to a tree. I thought the idea was very creative and well-executed. However, this was too short. The game is free, so I wasn't expecting any type of epic adventure. But this had the potential to be a game that could have lasted more than the .8 hours it took to play it from start to finish. I do recommend this game, because I did enjoy it. But I definitely wanted to play more of it. Maybe some type of enemies to ward off, maybe more variety of powers, a storyline that explains why the tree needs to be revived, what happened to it, a backstory to our protagonist. All things to consider. Overall I give this a 3/5.

This game is beautiful in every sense of the word. The atmosphere is ominous, mysterious, and pulls you in from the moment the nameless boy jumps onto the screen. The music is incredible and sets the perfect tone. The puzzles are challenging but not impossible to the point where you would find yourself discouraged.

There is no dialogue in this game. So the story can be interpreted however the player sees fit. That's huge. This is a story that relies not on narrative, but on what is experienced. It is SO hard to pull that off. As a writer, I rely on details and still end up with plot holes. Those aren't present here.

I could ramble on about this game forever. I could debate the theories and interpretations until I've run out of breath.

Very interesting and different game! It's entertaining and all of the "woefully wrong choices" have you meeting horrible and bizarre ends. I gladly recommend this.

This game...wow. Where to even begin? It's amazing. Play it. It's one of those rare gems you won't soon forget. From start to finish it is gorgeous and the storyline is so unique and emotional. You will laugh, cry, and often find yourself downright terrified. When you've finished you'll really have to sit back and take a breath, thinking about what you just experienced. And the fact that this was made by only 2 people (I believe?) just blows my mind. I can't even begin to imagine how much work this took, but it definitely paid off. I love it.

This was oddly fun. I loved the ending (I won't spoil anything.) I don't mind games with graphics like this and it certainly doesn't make or break the experience. The only issue I have is the length of gameplay. This could be an awesome game if it just lasted a bit longer.
