I would recomend this game to anyone that likes fast paced first person hack and slash gameplay, Fatshark has created one of the best feeling combat experiences I have came upon. Then there is W40k lore and that is quite nice, if you are into that. Gameplay can be challanging, but mostly fair. There is lots of ways to create a build and it can be a bit overwhelming at first, but once you get into that ther is no way back.

While it had some setbacks Team Cherry blessed us with another awesome metroidvania.
Would recommend it to any platformer or darksouls fan.

Ok, so I've tried to like the new DLC, and turns out that I can not recommend it at all...
First is the new items.. they are all over the place by that I mean two OP items and the rest is just bad and useless and with some, it's better to not have them at all.
Then there are new survivors which are OK I guess, but definitely not great.
Then there are new elites which are just way too bad. Glided are just pain but the twisted are too bad and not fun.
I just think that Gearbox does not understand this game, it's almost as if they did not test it at all and it shows not only with all these bugs at the start but also with how this DLC stuff doesn't go well with the rest of the game. The only good things are new maps since they add to the variety of stages, so there's that I guess.

TL;DR: This DLC is not worth it and with what you get you are better off without it.

Top of the shelf metroidvania experience. Loved every second of it, and there is always more to find, even if you think that you are nearing the end.

This game feels just amazing to play. I am kinda mid player but the "Platinum" rewards are usually not too hard to obtain. So you dont get frustrated while playing this game. This might seem like a "Git gud" moment but I would say that this is quite hard to pull off when designing a difficulty for a game like this. Alas I have not seen it done as well as here.
The story is told visual novel style and I would say that it was okayish, not that good but not hindering the gameplay which is the main reason you should buy this game.

I can't recommend this game. I wouldn't say that it's bad but quite frankly I didn't enjoy it. We just breezed through the game in 30 mins and all I could remember is that one "puzzle" with tapes that was just so obnoxious. I had to reel them over and over and it just hindered my experience. It would be cool if it hapened once or twice max but two times in a row? No thanks.

I like the puzzles this game has but the stars are just killing any enjoyment for me. You get them for completing levels without dying. This puts emphasis on redoing levels and you are not even figuring out the puzzle you are just trying to "master the controls." This could have worked if they were fun but this game's strong point is the puzzle part and the gameplay is basically just going right or go left. This leads to playing the puzzle (that you already know how to solve) again and again and basically just bloats the time you spend completing the puzzle.

While I enjoyed my journey through the lands between, I honestly don't think that this is the best game FromSoft has made. I would say that while bosses feel ominous and great when you fight them they are not as fun to beat as i.e. DS3 bosses were.
They seem to put a lot of focus on bosses being spectacular more than being fun/fair. And it might be because this is an open-world game and the progression is not linear so you are more likely to find the boss either too hard (so you go elsewhere and lvl up) or just an easy boss (since you are over-leveled and 5 hit KO the boss).
That being said the worldbuilding is top notch and what I enjoyed the most was trying various builds.
While a lot of people were saying that this game needs some difficulty settings etc, I would argue that in Elden Ring Fromsoft did give us the players quite a lot of mechanics that can make the game quite easier (spirit ashes).

Ok, so it's kinda sad that I have to go with not recommended since I quite enjoyed previous entries of the BL series, but here in BL3, it's just one step forward and two steps back.

The Gun-play is awesome and I loved the way guns were handled here, every gun feels unique in a way, and later in the game, you find better guns less often but when you do find one it's always quite fun.

But then there's the story. The main reason I gradually wanted to play the game less and less to the point of dropping it and deciding not to finish the game at all. It's true that I enjoyed the story in previous titles less and less with every new entry, but hey even, so I was quite surprised at how bad can a story get.

Then there is the UI that is just old by now and feels janky at least.
Then there's the thing with the "season passes" which is a total joke and a middle finger to the player base.

But hey at least it ran without any serious problems or bugs so there's that.

Early Access Review
I have to say that I quite enjoy and like this take on the roguelike formula. The gameplay is quite fluid and responsive, and even tho you can hardly ever look at it, the "Bang Bang" and "Pew Pew" lyrics are quite neat. On higher difficulties, it can get quite like bullet hell which I don't mind even tho it can be a bit overwhelming. I haven't encountered any major bugs and had a solid performance on both the old and new rigs.

Overall I can recommend this game without any issues and I look forward to what's to come.
