Look the game is very okayish. The performance is still pretty trash. The only reason people are still around is because of the gameplay. That is the only reason you should consider buying this, it's just about the gameplay. Albeit, you could also just get Vermintide 2 if you want the similar gameplay formula. That game is a lot more vivid and distinct. For this game, the developers have recently kicked it up a notch and are trying their best to deliver something better than what was the original release for a while. So I really hope they continue shooting out good updates. However, I don't think I have ever seen a game up it's performance dramatically. So the hope for better performance on all rigs may be a unobtainable wish. Stable frames sure, but better performance? It's really never been done before.

The music is good, the combat is good, the difficulty curve is good, the characters are good, the dialogue gets a bit repetitive that it's kind of a meme, the replay value is good. It's a good game, frequently referenced as "left 4 dead but medieval."

This is the only battle royale I've personally enjoyed and I come back to it every day. Every other battle royale has driven me away. The game has this sensation making you feel "badass" if you have really good movement or if you take out several enemies. It really helps that the music at the beginning of a match has a legendary feel.

Bought this game when it fully came out, was basically still in early access and still is to this day. You'll get annoyed by a lot of things. Don't lie to yourself thinking like this is "realism." This game is like R6S and Squad had a baby and it was this but that baby has a learning deficiency. The dev team seems to be so small that it looks like the 3D modeler(s) can only work on one thing at time (maps, weapons, or cosmetics). Balancing patches that I so dearly wish came out never do; again this might correlate to the seemingly small dev team. Wish I could love it but I can't. You might as well buy OG Insurgency.
