Think of this game like it is intense anime styled chess

The game at first seemed really fun when I first found it on YouTube while it was recommended to me. I watched a few videos of the game and it seemed extremely interesting to me so I bought it. The game was actually pretty fun for a few hours but it got boring, and the price for the lack of content the game has is extremely worrying. The $20 price for something like this is a bit overwhelming in my opinion, this game is NOT worth the $20 at all, even with the developers saying that the game is not finished and will have a lot more content in the future. I still like the game as it seems like it's trying to go in the right direction, I had a lot of fun for the first few hours I played it but I kinda got bored quickly. There isn't much to do except create worlds, create kingdoms and just destroy it. I think my main problem with the game is that there is no "modernization phase", your kingdoms and such are still stuck in the middle ages forever, there is no other time period or age or anything else like that. It would be nice to see real life modernization for technology, buildings, people and etc in the game but it seems like that might take forever considering the next update is as well and there wasn't many changes I've seen in the sneak peek. I think another problem is why would there be a lot of wars in the modern era and what weapons would they use, I think modernization to at least around the 1950's would make sense or something similar, where it isn't too modernized but not too old at the same time. It would be awesome to just have "kingdoms" have the ability to start nuclear wars on other kingdoms.

Overall, the game is cool for a bit but gets boring because of it's lackluster content. The game has been out for a decade so it would be assumed there would be some major game updates but not really. So to sum it all up, just buy the game on sale if you want it that badly.

The characters are pretty good but Raccoon city police station has to be the worst ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ map in the game. It's so dark and 90% of the time when I'm playing on it I'm constantly bumping into walls and have no idea where I'm going.
