Early Access Review
Lot of balance and technical issues to work out here, but so far Jump Space is proving to be a very fun experience.

The co-op play is well designed for the tighter based missions, the ground and space combat are fun and energetic. Having things for each player to constantly do means no one gets bored.

Still a lot of balance issues that need to be hammered out, and plenty of bugs exist. But the devs have been responsive and hard working to mitigate everything they can.

Ignore all the noise, this is simply a fun game to play. Are there aesthetic decisions that don't quite add up? Sure. Do they take away from just having fun playing a game? No.

Some of us let our old nostalgia and misguided feelings bend our feelings, but give this game an honest chance. Cast aside the interference and focus on just playing the game. It's fun. The story is solid, the action is quick, the mechanics are good enough. Sure, not a glowing endorsement, but it's fun just travelling the path set before me. That's good enough.

Does it "feel" like Dragon Age, a game that has had 3 previous tonal shifts? Yes, i'm still interacting with companions, some familiar and many new. I'm still combating old enemies, there's still good lore to delve into. The game does really enter a terrific arc towards the end, but it's still fun to get there as well.

Just relax, remember it's a video game and the point is to enjoy yourself. The game is simply fun.

The game an entire generation of CRPG player's have been waiting for. This isn't just a great addition to the Baldur's Gate series. This isn't just an amazing D&D game. This isn't just a great turn-based RPG.

This is simply a tremendously excellent game all around. Fans of all types f games will find this one immensely enjoyable. The level of detail, the attention to all the little things, the music, the story, the characters, the combat, all of it meshes into a terrific game by a terrific developer.

In a year that may go down as one of the best years in gaming in general, BG3 still stands atop as the best game of the year.

Starfield is a flawed masterpiece. There truly is some incredible things here and the scope is definitely grand.

The majority of quests are well written and thoughtful. The Easter eggs and call-outs are fun. Space combat is surprisingly exciting. The world vistas are gorgeous and great to admire. Even the ground combat, despite a weak AI, can be a lot of fun thanks to boost packs. The Outpost and Starship building systems are very complex, but immensely satisfying.

But it is flawed. While not as buggy as previous Bethesda titles, there are still a lot of bugs that are in dire need of fixing. The AI, as earlier stated, isn't overly great. The survival and exploration mechanics are pretty poor and feel incomplete.

On a whole, this is a terrific game with issues that each person will have to decide how to come to terms with. Myself, i'm completely drawn in by almost every aspect. Hoping future patches and DLC can expand and improve upon what needs to be addressed. But this game really feels like it has some staying power.

Solasta is by far the most faithful to the D&D5E rules game there is. Barring a narrative by a dungeon master, it really feels at time like playing with the same mechanics as the table top.

Having only the SRd is limited, but the homebrew classes and races bring a lot of extra fun. Inviting friends to control individual party members can result in a lot of fun and almost feels like a sit down session.

Barring various model issues, the graphics are serviceable enough and the spell effects and landscapes are quite nice. Overall, this is a huge success for such a small development team.
