Just abysmal performance from this game. Despite it coming out in 2016, you're still going see regular drops below 60fps at 1440p with some of the best hardware that 2022 has to offer.

It's still a great game, but to have so many great scenes robbed of their drama and gravitas because characters eyes glitch out is just unforgivable. Very sad that the parties involved cared so little as to allow the game to launch in this state.

It's pretty good and I don't even like yuri.

An odd bait and switch that sets up it's story only to abandon it 30 minutes in to tell a completely different one. Unfortunately the story it settles on likes to lead you by the nose with a drip feed of information and little else to carry your interest. Ultimately it does pay off but not sufficiently so to justify the slow build. Along the way the game finds time to drop out of place sophmoric insights on such topics as religion and gender politics.

With the main story thread resolved, the game returns to it's initial premise in the closing five minutes to deliver a cliffhanger that will keep few people hanging. This one's strictly for genre fans only.
