I went into this game completely blind, after picking it up in a bundle with Unfair Flips. I gotta say, it has been one of the most unique, funny, and entertaining games I've played.

At it's core is a genuinely interesting concept, the actual game is just a coin flip, but you build your skill tree as a physical network, where skills can trigger adjacent ones, to react to the flip. The Healer can turn losses into significant gains, the gambler can turn gains into eye-popingly large gains.

The multiplayer element is there, in that there are other people on your team, and they can influence your build, but for the most part the game is a single-player experience. I can imagine that if you get your friends to play, you could make some pretty powerful builds that play off each other.

There's a storyline that you experience through emails as you move up through the ranks, it's very funny and worth reading through. There's a lot of satire about the gaming industry and the e-sports scene, and I'm sure a lot of it went over my head.

There appears to be a good deal of replayability with 8 heroes, with entirely different skill trees and playstyles, as well as a number of achievements to hunt. As of this review, I've gotten to novice with the healer, and I'm looking forward to continuing with the different heroes.

I've watched myself die a thousand deaths on Malevelon Creek, and I will die a thousand more in the pursuit of Democracy, Freedom, and Liberty.

Adorable Peggle-inspired rogue-like, that involves you fighting your way through three main areas to complete a run. Peglin balances skill and luck very well, there are times where you simply get unlucky, but skillful play can get you out of a lot of bad situations. For as cheap as it is, it's entertainment value and replayability are worth it.

Idealistic farming game to sit back after a day at work, and tend to your crops, talk to the townsfolk, and listen to the gorgeous soundtrack. If you love animal crossing but feel it's a little too passive for you, this is a great alternative.

I feel like I have enough time put into the game to write a review about it at this point (~300 hours), and man, what a game this is.

The learning curve is steep, but this game can be as simple or complex as you like. You can use other's designs for engines and weapons, and then simply drop them into a hull you built, or you can do the full design yourself. Even now, I still use other people's engine designs, although I typically create my own weapons.

The campaign is a decent length, although I've never beaten it, as I spend most of my time creating random, low-cost designs that are more fun than functional. That, and I'm not certain in my own skill level in terms of creating designs that are capable of going toe-to-toe with later game enemies.

If you're the type of person to spend hours tinkering with designs to get something just right, this game is absolutely for you. No other game has come close to becoming the time sink this has for me in recent years (although Factorio comes close)

Absolutely recommend.

This game is challenging- but oh so rewarding. If you're the type of person to get angry and give up after 4 or 5 attempts at something, this game isn't for you. But if you're like the hundreds of other people who have adored this game, you get back and give it another shot every single time. And eventually, you get there, and it feels incredible[\i]

Game play is super simple and easy to learn, difficult to master. Instead of grinding your way to a boss fight, the game is actually a series of 10 boss fights, some more difficult than others. The score is amazing and the visual style awesome, and the story is pretty decent, a little lacking but that's easily forgivable.

If you liked Dark Souls, definitely give Furi a shot.
