Three words: RIP AND TEAR.
If you want to put those words into action then please don't do it in real life. Play this game instead and you'll be more than satisfied.
It's an absolute thrillride full of good design, satisfying and engaging run-and-gun combat, and a good helping of challenge. It's the kind of FPS we need to see more of now that the market (in my eyes) looks poised to be flooded with battle royale shooters. We need more unique and fun shooters like Doom 2016, that show us that not only can single player still be a thing, but it can be done extremely well. I can't speak for the multiplayer, having not played it, but I think the single player content (SnapMap stuff included) alone is worth the price of admission.
If you're reading this and haven't bought it already, WHY THE HELL NOT? DO IT.

You will not regret it.

Pros:
-Most of what was great about Arkham City returns
-Some of your new abilities and gadgets are pretty handy
-New voices do a good job and aren't just cheap imitations of the Rocksteady games' cast
-Not a complete retread of City, though some things return
-Fast travel is a godsend

Cons:
-Not a whole lot of new things in this one (similar gadgets, similar sidequests, the map's just Arkham City long before it was Arkham City - with a new section added on, of course)
-Textures can be pretty bad, and I don't know why
-More glitches than City, such as gun mooks getting trapped in one place during predator encounters, or Batman flipping out in midair while gliding

This game is often called the weakest of the series, and I'll agree. This doesn't make the game bad, though - I still think it's a good game and will be enjoyable for anyone who played the other games, but it doesn't do a whole lot of new things to differentiate it from City. The technical problems are also surprising, since I had stable experience with Asylum and City. However, like I said, most of the good from City is back, which means fun times are still to be had. So, conclusion? Buy it if you think you'll like it, wait for a sale if you're not sure.

Pros:
-Combat system is odd at first but works great once you get the hang of it and does require you to watch your timing
-Predator encounters challenge you to be stealthy, watch enemy movements carefully, and plan out your attack
-Gadgets are, for the most part, incredibly useful and their use is encouraged by me and the game
-Batman's abilities are satisfying to use and very useful
-The world may seem small compared to other open-world games, but it's made bigger by the amount of stuff to do
-Replayability added by Riddler's Revenge (Challenge Mode) and New Game Plus, in addition to easter eggs you might miss
-It's the GOTY Edition, which means extra content in the form of Challenge Mode characters and maps, additions to Story Mode, skins, and a new story pack

Cons:
-Sidequests can be a tad boring or tedious, but not horribly so (though Riddler's quest is incredibly long)
-The story isn't anything special (save for a couple parts) and has a plothole or two, but it won't ruin the experience at all
-Catwoman is not very well integrated into the story
-It's crashed a few times on me, though this is only a recent occurrence

Overall, I love this game. While not perfect, it's addicting and fun as hell to play with great mechanics and plenty of content. You don't need to know much about Batman to like this game, and my knowledge going in was limited to part of The Dark Knight and the 1989 film, so I'm glad I didn't need to know all of the lore to understand what was going on. It's also challenging, but with just a little time and effort, you can be a good Batman. Get it at full price, sale price, whatever - just get it and see for yourself!

Replacing my old review cause I didn't know what I was talking about as a kid. There are better options for playing these three games, don't go out of your way to find keys for this one.

I don't play this game much. But last time I did, EVERYTHING cost a LOT of Blutes to buy, and leveling up was slow as crap. These might be resolved, but it honestly cost too much for everything. I can't play for that much time, I'd rather play other games. I don't recommend this game. These issues may be fixed, but they were so ridiculous, I couldn't keep playing.

Having played this game longer, I'm re-reviewing it.
Team Fortress 2 is definitely a fun game, but it takes some time to become skilled at it. Going premium by buying something from the Mann Co. Store is a first step, as it gives you MUCH more space in your backpack, and you also get the ability to trade. Having to pay for this stuff is a bit ridiculous (though not as bad as Loadout, where a LOT of stuff is payed, and for plenty of money, too), but it's permanent, which is good. The actual game is a heck of a lot of fun, and all the community-created stuff, including things not added by Valve, makes the game even more fun. Try it out, it's free!
