For just a 2 man team, the devs are knocking this out of the park. It feels like a mix between h1z1 and DayZ which is really cool, there's also a lot of extra stuff in the game that really shines, I like the locking stuff and being able to change locks on car/doors/crates. I like the leveling system as a nearly 25 year runescape player dopamine = number go up. Can't wait to see how it is when it gets a full release and more optimized for multiplayer.

All of my time for the most part has been spent in PVP scenarios, it's been awful for the majority of the time due to the devs just really not giving a damn about PVP because like 80% of the playerbase is PVE players/streamers so they give all their time and energy to make them happy. They hardly ever optimize anything for PVP unless there is enough outrage and they even take away things that work fine for pvp (ice build) Nearly 2k hours and I'm glad i've met some cool people and have a cool community but honestly its just disheartening anymore to even play this. In PVP the big name people just exploit bases in walls and mountain tops then cry when nobody raids them in prismverse clash. Evolutions call is just basically dead anymore, its all chat pvp and doxing. Game sucks/10 hope they fix it so I can come back, but doubt it.

I miss this game so much. Can't even talk about Battle Royals without this being in the convo.

Not as daunting as Path, not as terrible as D4.

Overall pretty dang good, even the bugs dont bother me because I can tell the devs actually care about the game. The dev love is so nice to see nowadays (only other game i can think of where the devs care this much is old school runescape)

its ok

After the first playthrough I was blown away at the small cut scenes and such. It's gorgeous and feels just like The Forest (which I love) however it's lacking quite a few things in my humble opinion.
1: Building feels really barebones, no door locks, no trophies, all the stuff is pretty basic.
I do really enjoy the wall building and being able to cut logs down in size or split them, that is an amazing feature which I'm already sure you guys are working on bringing in a ton more stuff since this is early access.

2. I feel it needs more wildlife, the moose was a nice addition but everything else was in the previous game aside from the fact that all animal hides are just combined into one 'animal hide' and that's it, would love to see more diversity which again im sure you guys are already working on bringing in.

3. The special monsters are brilliant, the big fat red dudes are absolutely hilarious and the 'gina monster' is what my group calls it is impressive, however I miss the terrifying sounds and rumble from the fat man in the first game so im hoping more get added that really are more intense.

4. Weapons, I love the addition of more firearms, it's really open ended when you guys give us attachments and such for them too which is reallly neat, we played through on normal and it felt like the guns did just the right amount of damage

5. I really wanted boss fights, the worm is the closest we got and that's an amazing creature but I yearn for more.

Really that's it for me just spittin off the top of the dome before bed. I really love this game already and though it's in early access i'm gonna chalk it up on one of the greatest of all times, not really much you could do differently aside from add a few things just to build on the immersion, the island is beautiful and all my friends I play with think it's amazing. Thank you guys, even if nobody sees this review.

I cannot wait to see what comes next into the game and look forward to many hundreds/thousands of hours in the game.
