Huge Stardew Valley fan here, this is my take after 14 hours of playtime:

What I like:
- graphics & artstyle
- story idea
- Bought it for ~3,90€ and its definitely worth its price

What I don't like:
- Minimum amount of tutorials is generally fine with me BUT I had to google a lot (e.g. how to put stuff into your quickslots, how/where can I build certain stuff that is not described in their discription etc.)
- Everything feels overwhelming at the beginning which can cause players to give up early. Would have been better if more stuff is introduced a bit more slowly like step by step
- Seemingly no character design options and WHY THE HELL DOES MY ARMOR NOT SHOW ON MY CHARACTER?!
- Feels like you have to take certain tech paths to progress even though you don't necessarily want to

My recommendations:
- Add more character design options, at least show the stuff that you wear
- It should be possible to put the teleport stone into quickslots
- Add rideable horses & a workhorse with a carriage

Final thoughts:
Game has much potential but I would not recommend to buy it for full price (20€) but its definitely worth it when its on sale!

Best game ever since my childhood. Always coming back to it from time to time just to realise how fun and amazing it is and it reminds me of good times back in the days.

Long time fan, played all AOE titles so far. In AOE4 I play mostly matchmaking, co-op or solo vs. AI but I also played a bit of the campaign. They provide useful gameplay tips such as "how to use certain units", "using terrain benefits", "how to group units", "unit counters" etc. while also telling a story in the campaign. I especially enjoyed the Art of War mode in which u play predetermined scenarios as a training. Game is fun overall and I like the diversity of the different factions. The lack of options to bind certain commands to your mouse is the only thing I can think of that is missing (maybe they will add that in later patches?) Do recommend this title.

Such a classic! I remember playing it with my siblings back in the days when it got released. If you want to feel nostalgic, just buy it! Only thing that sucks is that the AI seems to stop building/progressing at a certain point in skirmish games and units tend to get stuck sometimes.

Still a classic! They adapted the game to newer standards without changing its core gameplay. My favourite improvements are the bigger borders when you click on buildings and the numbers showing how much workers you got for each task.

Go call your friends and play AOE II DE now! WOLOLOOOOOOOOO!
