Sony has retracted their decision to enforce linking a PSN account, thankfully.

I really love this game and the gameplay loop, but I can't recommend it just yet. Come back in a month or two. There's still instability, bugs, and missing features. The game is fun and I don't regret any of the time I put in, but to people who are looking to pick this up yet and don't want to go for the long haul of it, just wait for now and pick it up later.

I really wish I could give a sort of "meh" rating instead of yes or no, and I look forward to the day I can change this to yes in hopefully a month or two. I'm not really mad at Fatshark or anything, I imagine a lot of this was rushed and out of their hands by higher up executives, but I can't help but be disappointed. The game should have been pushed back by another month and the cash shop should have been introduced much later when things were settled.

Edit: The game is a lot more stable now but the cash shop is really horrendous.
