Running a 6800xt and a 5800X3D on max, not seeing much of the performance issues being reported. Game runs smooth enough, a little different from the first game, feels more like a Monster Hunter to me and less like an Armored Core. If you're a fan of either, I'd recommend.

Gundam Evolution is a hero-shooter that sets itself apart from others in the genre. Its boost movement and downed ally systems mixed with blurred hero roles makes for a fun experience in gun-play. It sports 3 game modes, and a diverse map pool that requires adaptable playstyles. Two of the largest deterrents of the game have been lobby disconnection and 4 locked roster units. The match-making issues that came in early stage of release have been steadily addressed. Release roster is 17, with 4 "paywall" suits that can be unlocked through earned currency. There is certainly enough diversity and strong suits to learn on release to enjoy and succeed.

The game is not perfect, but its a solid and fun game that I look forward to seeing grow.

Early Access Review
A game reminiscent of the Playstation era of Armored Core, with a fighter twist. Its a 3D arena type mech fighter, with an emphasis on fighter. It plays like a lot of similiar mech type arena games but its latest stability system has a feeling similiar to something like Soul Calibur. Real time tactics of most combat devolves into a turn base as you have to manage your ammo and energy efficiency in your push and pull of the battle. It has a system similiar to a guard that can be broken and leaving you stunned, breaking your push or stopping your flee. It also sports a modest amount of mobility that a lot of mech game fans strive for. The game includes a good amount of customization including a system of Head, Core, Arms, Legs, multiple weapon slots, and internal stat modifiers. Coloring is proficient, and includes a small amount of reskins for some weaponry so you can tailor your aesthetics.

Where the game is lacking is a large player base, that is counteracted by a friendly and active Discord server that includes the game devs. I highly reccomnd picking this game up and giving it a try yourself. You'll get the gist of the game within the first 60 minutes with all equipment provided to you on startup, so you have the ability to refund it if you're not satisfied with it yourself.

Some things I'd like to see in the future is an expansion of loadout options over time to have me coming back on updates, events, an updated music and sound selection to polish the game, an expansion of map variation with more obstacles, a steam workshop and purchasable content to support the developers and community, and perhaps a rank system with rewards for skins or items to have some sort of feeling of accomplisment and progress.

Slap your friend's hams in an epic four person climb to the top. 10/10 would slap again.
