I was expecting more of the game , they finally gave us armies to conquer islands which I really missed in last couple of Anno games, but it totally lacks in other aspects.
This wasn't fun at all. They wanted to make few new mechanics which you can start really incorporating after the first game or you will spend a lot of time trying to fix your islands through the games. Research is cool new thing but it's so diverse you can't really focus on anything.
It's true that you cant know the game until you play it couple of times but one Anno game can be played over a week.
You cant really conquer if the AI makes defense pack with each other which means you instantly go to war with all 3 of AI.
It doesn't feel like it has the depth for 60€, and then what? We will need to pay for next couple of DLC's to get the game we deserved.

If I could I would refund this game, not worth it now and especially for 60€.

These updates are making this game better than all of the other space exploration games combined.

Price of DLC's are increasing the price of the game while that stuff should be included in base game.
So even if I already did make my friends get game so we can enjoy coop I can't make them get each DLC so we can enjoy complete game together and they are not sharable if only 1 of us has it.
I will continue playing the game and probably continue getting new dlc's but I can't recommend game to new players.

Recommendation to developers: Add old DLC's to base game while you're making new ones.

It's great coop game, good building mechanics all you need is your imagination .
Bonus: You will get your money's worth with this game.

This game reminded me that there are better games to play

Here's what I think of Monolisk ATM.
Pros:
Fun start, lots of new packs to get you going.
It is fun and rewarding when other players rate your maps.
In game purchases are not expensive.
Cons:
Not enough players for you to keep going, stars required to get new packs gets more expensive and there is no players to fill that.
ON THAT NOTE - There are packs that you get by just playing the game until some point and then game just DIES. This has to be infinite 'till more players are playing the game so you can get stars. There is no incentive to keep playing because to get 1 pack you usually need around 50 levels and that's with 20 shards average but that can be way lower.

I really LIKED the game and recommended it to everyone around me since its f2p and can't lose anything BUT at this point without limitless amount of packs for playing people just quit and you can't progress further. I will give it thumbs up if developers add that back to the game, I think people would stay longer and player pool would be bigger for everyone to enjoy!
