Early Access Review
This Early Access Act I first release review.

I devide aRPG into 2 sides 'the campaign' and 'the endgame'.
There is no endgame now.
The campaign so far was enjoyable and exploration was fun.
I made SMG Ice Shard build which melts all content +2 levels.

The positives:
You can upgrade the zones you already visited to your level and increase difficulty adding levels.
'Core' skills have also customizations for Weapons attack / Dodge / Barrier.
You're required to put points into skill to customize it, unlike Diablo where it's 1/5 and you can select all customizations immediately.
The customizations of a skills are free and respec costs are not crazy high.

Neutrals:
Attributes are weird, you should pump Vigor as much as possible and only put points into your other main stat to satisfy gear requirements, Might/Knowledge/Agility doesn't impact your DMG.

The negatives:
I don't like that there is no gain from Divinity besides unlocking skills.
Resummoned bosses are not worth it for now - you get 2 items drop for rekilling the same boss and it costs too much cash to resummon vs reward you get, the piniata drop is only from first kill of a boss.
Graphics optimization is simply not there. I am forced to run medium/high settings and use AMD FSR with frame generation on RTX 3090 to hit over 100fps in UWQHD.
Music could use improvements, there is no battle music per say, always chill background music.

Early access so bugs expected:
Game crashed for me once for unspecified reason but there is 'report' feature which auto-sends crash data to developer.
I encountered 1 visual bug where a bridge lifted from water by the end of Act 1 wasn't there visually after I reloaded game again but was walkable.
'Streamers' say there is 6h of content. I played 12h of actual game to explore everything and play around with build changes on 1 character.

Far better version over Nintendo Switch one.
Smooth 4k HDR experience vs 1080p.

Gameplay is engaging and great fun with friends.
As all Monster Hunter games this is mainly about hunting big monsters, story is just a background for the continuous grind and never ending gear chase while you progress through content.

End game is for completionists who like to farm best gear monster over and over for hours and then do speed runs.

It's a shame this is not Monster Hunter: World quality over all but great way to not forget your PC player base after first PC entry in the Monster Hunter series.

It was enough fun that I will buy and play the expansion when it drops.

Early Access Review
If you like Pokemon you will like Temtem. The game does things differently enough to make it worth while and similar enough to make you feel like home immediately. No voice acting which would make the game even more friendly, some reading required as in the other catch your pets game. Core gameplay is enjoyable.

I only played solo/single player experience so far other players I only see running around.
Still early access so give it some time.

+ Your powers are unlocked along the way but game doesn't force you to back-track
+ Save at any moment
+ Colectibles are "along the way"
+ Ending

Overall 7/10
