update as of 2025 - i've played this game for years and loved it but its gotten to the point where I can't recommend anybody to start playing this game because its going downhill fast. the devs have been more concerned with printing money from crossovers than anything else and major bugs like no colors working in Ranked 2v2 take literal months to get fixed (google it). the balancing is atrocious and BMG's only solution to problem weapons is to decrease aerial acceleration or increase recovery frames on miss AND hit, making weapons feel clunky and accidentally breaking true combos because the updates aren't playtested. game follows the league of legends playbook and every new legend is incredibly overtuned and then promptly nerfed to the ground. i've had a positive review on this game for years but I can't defend it anymore :(
