TO THE SKIES, BROTHERS!

Far more polished than its predecessor Warhammer 40,000: Sanctum Reach. With the campaign completed and other modes tested, I was incredibly pleased with this game. While the game is only in its beginning stages, it's already a complete game. With future expansions, this game could offer hours of replay value.

Pros:
+Smooth graphics (from afar and up close)
+Thrilling soundtrack
+Well-designed gameplay flow (especially for a turn-based game)
+Variety of units and variants to keep your play style ever-changing
+Decent Skill Tree
+Story line is not bad, but feels repetitive towards the end

Cons:
-Repetitive character chants
-ONLY Blood Angels and Tryranids
-20 unit cap // really restricts massive battles in multiplayer or skirmishes

Without a doubt, one of the most polished turn-based games in the last 4 years. Hell, maybe even 5.

9/10

Pros:
-Great graphics for a turn-based game
-Smooth gameplay - ex: one action will not end your turn right away / can continue to move after attacking
-Awesome Industrial-Like sound track
-So many weapon, unit and equipment unlockables...
-Skill Tree progression is not terrible
-Intuitive Command Point system
-Vast difficulty customization options -recommend not lowering the settings however; embrace the critical decision making!

Cons:
-Lack of cosmetic customization
-Can feel like a grind at points
-Only one faction of enemies

I played this game for hours upon hours. I play offline however, which is why it only looks like 1.3 hours on record.

I just want to say that this game is absolutely magnificent. It feels like a highly strategic-based board game where you move/ attack with all your units upon your turn. It was a little confusing trying to use editor and not understanding what some of the Skirmish game-modes. I also cannot speak for the campaign, but I have heard that it is a masterpiece. My favorite game mode is Skirmish, which offers a lot of customizing and options based on units, playing field, size of map and force, etc. I am buying the DLC today and will give my opinion on that later. I definitely would recommend this game to anyone looking to play a complex game at their own pace.
