One of the most visually appealing horror games I have ever played. The jumpscares are tasteful and fit the theme. I really felt scared playing the game. The storyline is incredibly executed and makes you think! And, the game strays far from the typical puzzle-solver, dodge-the-stalking antagonist horror as the game focuses on atmosphere, suspense, and dread over cheap and predictable jumpscares. While there are some puzzles, they tastefully enhance the story and reward the player rather than simply add to game length or complicate the gameplay.

Also, the plot is unusual; truly a unique game that I would recommend to anyone looking for a horror game that truly sets the bar.

Tried it once or twice. It was pretty ok.

I really tried to like this game. But all of the glitches and overall lackluster gameplay left more to be desired. I still feel like an idiot for believing the hype as the actual game looks nothing like the product delivered currently (and on day 1). The promise for an infinitely generated world was incredibly appetizing, and the graphics they showed off looked amazing. However, the graphics are drab, low-quality, dark, depressing, and do not match the gamplay footage they showed off frequently before the release. And, the procedurally-generated monsters looked awesome in the trailers, but turned out to be pathetic Spore-like renditions of all of our childhood refridgerator art that our mom's seemed so proud of.

In the end, this game has become a lesson for me. As I mistakenly played longer than allowed for a refund, I have learned against pre-ordering a game. It just makes me sad for myself in retrospect.

The day I redownload this waste of SSD space on my computer is the day I want to be executed.

One of the most enjoyable experiences in a game I have had to date. Just a pleasure to play. It is incredible optimized; it runs amazingly well even at Ultra 1440p 144hz with a 980TI and i7 6700k. Like 100+ fps. Beautiful.

Don't get me started on the downright addicting "blow-the-head-of-of-everything" gameplay. It is truly a treat to play.

The atmosphere of this game is what makes it so amazing. Seriously, if you are even thinking about playing this game: just do it. You won't regret it. Not to mention it runs amazingly; it is very well optimized.
