Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 — Worth Every Minute

Audentes fortuna iuvat.

KCD1 was great but imperfect. KCD2 improves almost everything. The story hooked me from the first hours and never let go — I honestly cannot remember the last time a single-player game felt this engaging.

Characters and voice acting are excellent, and the world feels incredibly real. Combat is challenging and rewarding: the longsword is fantastic, the bow and crossbow are satisfying, and even the early handgun is fun to use. The graphics and sound design create an atmosphere that is easily 11/10. Sir Radzig’s speech before the final battle is unforgettable. As a Catholic, I also appreciated that prayer is treated as part of the experience, not something you just skip.

If there is ever a third game, I would love to see marriage, a home system, companions, and a bit more sandbox freedom — the world and combat are so good that I simply want more ways to live in them. One historical nitpick: as a Croat, I wish the Croatian checkerboard shields in Sigismund’s army had been labeled Croatian rather than Hungarian.

Overall, KCD2 is an outstanding sequel and absolutely worth the money. If you enjoy deep, historically grounded RPGs, this is a masterpiece you should not miss.

Let me start by saying:
I first played Sons of the Forest during early access, and now I returned to it on full release. I never played The Forest (the first one), so I went in fresh with friends — we had a blast the first day. After that... well, it got annoying real fast.

The Good Stuff:

The looks: Game looks absolutely amazing.

The enemy AI (and Kevin): Really cool. You can do all kinds of crazy stuff with them.

The Bad Stuff:

The inventory: The worst inventory ever made. It takes you ages to find anything. I imagine there was one dev — let’s call him "Mike" — who designed it. Mike also made the crafting animations. And to protect Mike’s feelings, we have to sit through the same long animations every time. Wish we could just see them once and move on.

Blueprints: When you place a blueprint for base building, the bottom left of your screen gets spammed with resource requirements. It even covers your map. You can turn it off in settings, sure, but then you have no clue what ammo or item you just picked up... so back into that god-awful inventory you go.

Base building: Actually amazing — but ruined by how insanely many resources you need. You can carry 30 sticks, but every project needs millions of sticks. Everything just takes forever.

The story: Bland. Didn't care for it at all.

Gunplay: Guns feel like toys — absolutely awful. The worst shotgun I've ever fired in a videogame. Zero impact, zero satisfaction. And the bows? I don't know about the developers, but back when me and my friends were kids, we'd make bows and arrows out of sticks and string — and even we could shoot better than our character does in this game.

Missing QoL and dumb design choices:

Can't pour water from a cooking pot into your canteen unless the pot is literally on a fire.

Can't add firewood to an already burning fire.

Tons of other little things that just make no sense.

Climbing mountains: A complete gamble between death and success.

TL;DR:
I think I'm spoiled by DayZ, which (in my opinion) is the best survival game out there. Playing Sons of the Forest just didn’t feel good for a survival game.

TL;DR:
World of Tanks is a deep, rewarding, and addictive game that’s still the best in its genre — but it has a steep learning curve, rough early experience, and map balance issues. Stick with it, and it’ll hook you for years.

An Honest Review from a Long-Time Player (Thousands of Hours Off-Steam)

This is, by far, my most played game — even though the hours shown on Steam don’t reflect it. I’ve spent thousands and thousands of hours in World of Tanks over the years. It’s seen its highs and lows, and it still has issues, but in my opinion, it remains the best game in its genre.

Why I love it:

The gameplay is tight, satisfying, and super rewarding. Every upgrade, every grind — from unlocking a new gun to finally reaching that Tier X — feels like a true accomplishment.

The graphics scale amazingly well. You can run this game on a literal potato or crank it up and have it look like a modern AAA release. It's incredibly well-optimized.

There’s always something to do — events, missions, new modes — and the core gameplay loop is addictive.

Main Game Modes:

Random Battles: The bread and butter of WoT. It’s where most of your time will be spent.

Onslaught: A competitive 7v7 Tier X-only mode with adjusted tank stats and reworked maps. It's one of the most polished modes in the game and fixes many of the issues found in Random Battles.

Frontline: A massive 30v30 mode (Tiers 8 and 9) with respawns, sectors, and special abilities. Great for farming credits and just having chaotic fun.

Flaws (Still Important to Know):

Map Issues: A lot of the maps in Random Battles feel unbalanced or outdated. What's really strange is that Onslaught actually fixes many of these maps — better layout, flow, and balance — yet these changes aren’t brought over to Randoms. It’s frustrating because the improvements are right there.

Low-Tier Experience: This is probably the biggest issue for new players. Low tiers (Tiers 1–5) are plagued with unbalanced premium tanks and experienced players (“seal clubbers”) who drop down just to stomp new players. It creates a pretty terrible first impression. Wargaming really needs to rework these tiers and add better protections or matchmaking for newcomers.

Community & Clans: WoT has a massive community and a strong competitive scene. Clan activities, tournaments, and team play add a ton of value to your experience. I highly recommend joining a clan early on — you’ll learn faster, make friends, and have access to more content and rewards.

Tips for New Players: Start by watching some YouTube guides or checking out Twitch streamers. Also, join a Discord server or two — there are plenty of friendly veterans out there willing to help you get into the game.

Final Verdict: Even with its flaws, I still highly recommend World of Tanks. It’s an incredibly deep, rewarding game that keeps you coming back. Just know what you’re getting into: it takes time to learn, and the early grind can be rough. But once you’re in — and you “get it” — there’s nothing else quite like it.

Tankers, roll out! 💥

The game is very fun but it has flaws.
I played all Battlefield games and a lot of Escape from Tarkov and Hunt Showdown.
First off the Warfare mode (Bf clone) its ok for a f2p bf clone but still I dont see myself playing it a lot since I find Bf way batter.
But the Operations mode (Extraction shooter) I find great the maps are great, operators are fun, the game runs really good and I havent seen any bugs so far. This game has so many QoL features its really amazing.
The flaws are :
- I have seen a lot of cheaters so far (luckly I see them baning them offten)
- Maps are great but the one problem they have is spawns they are teribale.
- And one thing I hate is the battle pass having a weekley progress cap that basicly forces you to buy extra levels with money witch I hate since you already paid for the pass.
All in all the game is free give it a go.
