Story is kinda hard to follow, lot's of out of context stuff.
Combat is kinda repetitive, but satisfying.
Voice acting is meh
Ayane is too much / awkward.
Finished in about 12 hours, not sure about replay-ability.
Not sure about it's price point, I'd say worth a play on sale.
6/10

This game has so much potential, however only caters to people willing to spend either 80+hours a week playing, spending hundreds or thousands of dollars per week to keep up with the release schedule, or were lucky enough to have found and maintained a static group of friends to play with, will have access to the latest content.

For newer players, some effort is made with their express events to get a new character to the minimum item level required to do current raids, but nothing in the game provides incentive to veteran players to take newer players into their raid. Veterans instead take advantage of the fact that newer players will not be able to find a public lobby and offer a carry for in-game currency (bussing) instead. This was alleviated with a boot-camp event that rewarded players to take new players into raids with them

A new player will often be unable to find a group without using third party networking tools (like discord servers), as the raids themselves often require every person in the raid to complete specific tasks during the fight. failure to complete these tasks correctly result in a raid wipe. Veteran players shun low level accounts due to the risk of becoming jailed (not able to finish the raid in that week). This could be alleviated if you were able to reclear previous parts of the raid in a week, but this can be exploited by bussing, something that apparently both the developer, Smilegate and publisher, AGS have no desire to change.

There is also an obnoxious 'over-gearing' culture as well. If you want to join public lobbies for the current highest level content, you better make sure you are rocking the highest level gems and have maxed out the elixirs (that require you to have cleared the content you are tying to do, I'll add), otherwise you are not getting a support player (essential to clear the raid).
This over-gearing is a result of a shortage of players levelling support characters to the latest content, largely due to the insane investment required, and that supports are both limited in choice (only 3 classes) and are, (in my opinion of course), not fun to play.

There have been announcements that they are implementing solo raids in the future, so players that either aren't very good, or not geared enough to join public lobbies, (or both) can still access the materials needed to continue their progression. I think this is too little and far too late. Solo has since been implemented. It does well to teach you all the normal patterns and introduces you to the mechanics in all a good change, but the gold received is pitiful, and you cannot repeat them for no rewards to practice more, pushing you to clear the multiplayer raids which as discussed above is not in reach for most new players. The raids are fun, and players who do not wish to engage in the multiplayer aspect can still play and enjoy the game, they will just be behind the current releases by about a year, as solo raids are not available for all content.

If you have a group on at least 3 others that will be playing the game with you, I can recommend it. The combat is fun, the story is pretty good, and there is a lot of things to collect if you're into that, but if you intend to play solo, I'd advise to stay away, unless you intend on playing a support as a main character, or have deep pockets.

Between unresolved crashes (that have plagued the game from launch), disconnects and the abundance of cheaters, there is an OK game at best. F2P go for it, don't give them, your money, they don't deserve it.

A fun and interesting game.

PROS:
- You can shoot through almost everything.
- Headshots are killshots.
- you can make little murder holes in drywall.
- new characters are brought in every few months.
- Feels fairly well balanced.
- Rapelling.
- Strategy and planning required if the opposing team is working together well.
- Breach charges to blow out entire walls.
- Each character has a unique peice of equipment.
- In game VOIP is for the most part really clean and focused on the game.
- The community so far has been far less toxic than other FPS titles.
- Weapon customisation (attachments, visual appearance etc.)

Cons
- Loadout cannot be adjusted in-between rounds.
- Hit registration is touch and go.
- Ubisoft (jk. they aren't bad. I just feel like this game could be running a bit smoother than it's current state.)
- Tagging onto hit registration, the network code can be realllly bad. I'm talking full secconds of desynchronous play.
- Matchmaking can be slow at times.
- Either many hours needed or a lot of $$ required to unlock new characters as they are released.

The cons are the same for nearly all shooters. It is a newer game and there is plenty of opportunity for fixes and new content,
