I love this game. I love opening sacks to find the next random thing that I can either store to collect the entire set or sell individually to a customer who, for some reason, only wants a single limb of a doll. I thoroughly enjoy the chizelling minigame, its rather enjoyable to try to use as few clicks as possible to clean the item while it still allows you to take as long as you like.

My one gripe with the game is that the devs seem to have mixed up some voices, as many don't seem to match the characters they are attached to. The main characters are mostly ok, it's just the random customers, especially humans. The females have mustaches, and the males have a girl's voice. It's awful and I turned off the voice acting volume after awhile.

Sad to see a game I wanted to replay for content I haven't yet seen (as the game is fairly large), turn into spyware. It's a form of theft that unfortunately often goes unpunished. I hope companies that do this find themselves in financial difficulty.

Early Access Review
It's the sim game of dreams. Combining many sim concepts into one, including a basic GTA type world roam, lets me enjoy different things at different times. Sometimes I might want to build houses, other times commit to decoration, and sometimes I just want to break walls or be a taxi driver. There is so much already and I'm just eager for more!

Starting off, this game for me was an instant addiction. The animation style, the dynamic and beautiful music, the tight controls, the customization, how every dialogue is voiced, the world and it's lore, and the unique combination of concepts it brings to the table all together make something so incredible I can only make an attempt to describe how much I love it

The animation style brings me back to some of the best memories gaming as a kid. I heard this game was taking Studio Ghibli as it's inspiration and it really shows. To me the art style is a combination of Legend of Zelda and one of my fave games on gameboy advanced, Advance wars. This style really lends itself to the world lore in that its based off of one of our time periods but really delves into that era like a steampunk world would.

The music is so perfect to this game that I barely notice it half the time. It so fully immerses me into the game that it took me nearly 5 hours into the game to realize that it was dynamic and changes based on your current actions in the world. The chord played as you dock is such a nice touch to a perfect landing it does nothing but add to the positive experience.

My first flight sim was ace combat 4 on the PS2. That game had me hooked. The story was gripping and was the only game to make me cry for many many years. The controls on Brew Barons are almost identical to ace combat 4 and made it a seamless transition. It is responsive and tight, intuitive and smooth. I love it.

You can customize your plane with different parts. Each part has a positive and negative trait to it so it is always a give and take. Having multiple planes at the ready for specializing in different tasks is nice once you have the money to do so, and every part makes your plane look different. From biplanes to monowings, to open cockpits and enclosed, it really makes the plane look realistic in its cartoonish way.

The one thing this game falls a little short on is it's voice acting. Quite honestly it sounded like some of the voices were AI. And while I can go on about the quality of it being poor, its certainly not the lowest quality I have experienced. It actually reminds me heavily of the voice acting in dynasty warriors. But having every dialogue box in the game voiced is more than enough compensation. It's a rare thing in modern games and very much appreciated.

Collecting ingredients is very fun, so long as you take breaks every so often. It can be a bit repetitive if you insist on stocking up ingredients to make your brews. But its always a thrill to collect wheat by flying 20m above ground at 135 knots. Bombing potatoes out of the ground and shooting apples off trees are fun activities too. I just wish the water bombing was easier.

In conclusion, I have to give this game a 10/10. Normally I don't give out perfect scores, because there is no perfect game. This game, however, comes as close as I think I have ever seen to it. While it could use some improvements here and there (like that obstacle course... I tried that thing 7 times and just gave up after it bugged on me) but it makes up for all its short comings in other areas. If they every release a DLC or sequel, I will be buying it in a heartbeat. Well done!

I don't normally write reviews. But that is probably as a result of not finishing many and I never felt comfortable writing reviews without knowing it from start to finish. That aside, let me tell my story.

When I was in college my grandma passed on. I never got a chance to mourn, had to study. As a result, I was never really able to move on fully, it was always bottled up deep inside. She was a baker and all of her family and community in the area she lived knew her as one of the best. Treating life circumstances as problems solved by food. She baked cakes, muffins, brownies, cupcakes, banana bread, casseroles, soups, stir fries, you name it.

At first glance this game was just another tycoon, so I just put it off for awhile. When I was bored a few days ago I decided to try it out, I do enjoy a good sim tycoon game. My surprise when I found out what the story was all about. Random coincidence is that my mother's name is also Denise. So it hit me like a truck from the get go. The more I played the more it helped me feel things that I had buried for years. Around every corner was a smile, with a tear to go with it.

After finishing the game I let loose more tears than I have in over 2 decades combined. All during a very stressful time in my life. This game has helped give me the mourning time I needed to move on. And while my circumstance is unique, I can recommend this game to anyone needing that release. I feel better. I would like to thank the developers for their creativity and design.

I love discovering new ingredients and getting a quote from grandma about each one relating it to life. I loved earning enough money by simply playing the game rather than grinding to get to new areas. I love getting upgrades and the ability to customize my interior for function and fashion. It brought a special smile to my heart when I found out I can make bread and then again when i could make croutons. It's also a nice touch being able to make custom dishes and name them so that customers order the name you gave them.

But every review needs some cons or it just sounds like empty praise. It does have a couple noticeable bugs but nothing that was game breaking for me. I only needed to use the unstuck feature once on my truck because I jammed it against a rock on the beach. My computer is on the older side so that might be the reason I had some FPS drops, also did that every time it autosaved.

All in all It's a solid game that has helped me with life, not just killed time.

TLDR: There are many cozy games out there, but this one is mine. Thanks

The game is great. Unfortunately the multiplayer won't work. Friends constantly disconnect so they plan on refunding it. I will keep it to play single player as I enjoy replaying it solo here and there.

The other issues is that the audio and visuals have been changed and, in my opinion, aren't as good.

A great game if they could fix it but unfortunately, I don't think they ever will.

It's a great game! A few bugs and some graphical issues, but overall a great experience!
