Even not on sale, the price tag is a deal.

It's just plain fun to move around once you get the hang of it.
Penny walks like a stump, but can ignore friction and slingshot midair.
The physics are fun to play with, the difficulty is satisfying, challenge trials, leaderboards...

Hoping hard for a sequel someday.

I struggle to say this, but Sonic Frontiers is good.

First off, the dull grassy map in the marketing does not last long. There are much bigger biomes after the opening and over-all the game's a visual spectacle.

Second, Sonic has a Gas Pedal now, the Right Trigger, and it fits him like a glove. He moves like Sonic Adventure 2, jumps like Smash Bros. He sounds like Knuckles, but speaks true to 3d Sonic form: too cool and a little autistic.

Third, what exactly should a '3D Sonic' game be? That question drives this entire game forward, from plot to design, through an open-world sea of lore-consistent "slop." The game takes inspiration from the other 'AAA open-world' games (Breath of the Wild, Nier, Horizons), but pulls from all over the Sonic franchise. Again, that goes for both gameplay & plot.

This game is a treat.
Rhythm heads should run this one through at least once.

It's WipeOut, my dudes. Rejoice, for at least one developer "gets it."
The difficulty is high, the controls are tight, and the ships are heavy.
Oh, also, there's a single-player career mode, custom ships/tracks through Steam Workshop, and the Devs actually still maintain the game (monthly updates after... 7 YEARS)

Yeah, it's alright.
You'll have a good time, but you probably won't return.
In short, it's "K-On! After School Live!" with a Senran Kagura spin;
way more characters, way more customization options, less diverse gameplay, dull track list, and wink-wink-sexy-cutesy gags.

Actually, just go play "K-On! After School Live!" with an English patch.
Otherwise, play this I guess.

Good rhythm games are about as rare as good fighting games.
This one's smaller than the big buys, but mightier than most.
Plus, the gameplay is unique, borrowing ideas from OSU, DJ Hero, Amplitude, and Muse Dash.
Pretty to look at, dripping with style, and easy to learn.

Also, SpinXD has surprisingly great performance optimization.
Yes, that's a feature.
My PC struggles with 1080p at times, but I'm running SpinXD on Max settings at 4k/60.

Children and drunk adults scream to this one.

Square Enix threw GTA, Saints Row 3, and Gary's Mod in the teleporter and hit the big red button.

Just Cause crawled out the other end and, honestly, it kind of ripped.
Just Cause 2 came shortly after and everybody clapped; roars of applause, I tell you.
As the crowd shuffled toward the exit, Just Cause 3 ran onto the stage and pulled a sick 20-minute drum solo, melting many dopamine receptors and even a few budget gaming PCs.

This is a rare one. Scrappy, but sincere.
Reminds me of those walking Strandbeest sculptures, made only with PVC pipes and twine.
This game punches above it's weight, even with the game engine occasionally crying under the weight of features and modes.
Satisfying and punishing physics with solid controls (More 'Skate' than 'T Hawk').

I've got dozens of hours on the Switch release, ticked every completion box I could find.
Still come back occasionally.
