I have only had the time to play a few levels of this game and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

The frame rate was a little low at 1080P on my ASUS G750 which made the combat system a little laggy but once I switched to 1440x900 it was completely smooth and made the combat system feel much nicer.
It took me a little while to get used to the controls and I kept falling into fire but once I sorted the frame rate it was much easier to play and much more enjoyable.

There is a wide range of enemies that require different approaches to defeat and a long list of combos for different weapons so the combat is fresh and has a lot to offer.
Looks wise the game has a nice blend of vibrant colour and animation to match, the design of the enemies is nice and monstrous and I also loved the design of the first boss especially.

There were a few small aesthetic glitches here and there (when dying for example the screen switching a bit) but nothing game breaking and they certainly didn't take away from my enjoyment.

The sounds are nice and crisp, fit the feudal era Japanese setting and give a good feel for what is going on in the game.

I look forward to completing this game and perfecting the combat system! Keep up the good work guys!
