Fast paced game which is constantly getting updated for balance and with new features. One of my all time favorite real time strategy games. And its free!

A relatively simple real time strategy game with some twists that distinguish it well against other games in the category. Overall it's a fun, interesting, and unique game but I am uncertain about it's replay value.

The strategy has some depth but it is still largely a numbers game which is a little uncomfortable because of the game's pace. Action in Northgard is a little slow and the only real value in micro managing and to avoid having units die when they are on the front line. There are also some kinda annoying random elements which although they add to what's going on they take away from player-player strategy which I think is more integral.

A huge timesink, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
