This game is so stupid and buggy but it's fun with friends. Probably better drunk or high. Takes me back to when my dad yelled at me to hold the flashlight still.

A medium length mod with good weapon variety and gunplay. The level design is serviceable although nothing too special. It tells a good story. Lots of puzzles in the middle segment, but they're sensible and work to enhance gameplay. The voice acting is admittedly not great; I imagine the Russian voice acting is better. It's free, so play it and see what you think.

Spoiler-free: This game is so banger and is incredibly well-paced. You play as Mark Borja, a Filipino high-schooler and bad pianist who's just trying to find his place in the world. The story at first is a sort of soap opera adolescent drama that's well-written, but pretty typical for visual novels. However, as Mark grows, you and him realize that something is off with the world around you. There's clearly something paranormal happening, but I can't say much more than that without spoiling it all. What I will say is do not stop playing the game after the credits roll, even though the ending hits like a truck; there is so much more. This game does a very good job at playing at your emotions, whether that be laughing, crying, or otherwise empathizing with the characters.

The only bad thing I can say about the game is that it's more like an interactive movie than a fully-fledged video game, but that's sort of how the genre works. The gameplay is point-and-click-adventure, in the same vein as Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. There are some minigames here and there, but they're only maybe 5% of the playtime. Treat this game as a movie or a book rather than something like Red Dead Redemption 2 or Half-Life 2 and you'll enjoy it much more. Play only a chapter or two a day and leave yourself on cliffhangers.

Until Then is an extremely touching piece of art and it deserves every bit of praise that's been sent its way. It's at 97% positive on Steam for a reason. I can't recommend the game enough; please play it!

Also I might be biased because I have Filipino heritage and I play the piano

One of the most banger games I've ever played. I'm always late to the party when it comes to playing highly esteemed games, but this was worth every penny and every minute I spent on it. The narrative is beautifully constructed in this game, and I found myself saying or thinking the exact words that Arthur said at many points.

From beginning to end, every character in or surrounding the Van der Linde gang is believable and feels real. Nearly every person in the world feels real. Rockstar also had very high attention to detail, from NPCs commenting on blood on you after a fistfight, to the moon operating on accurate lunar cycles, to horse testicles shrinking in cold weather, to NPCs picking up dropped bits of food when eating in a saloon. The gameplay is also very well done. It's not optimized for keyboard and mouse, but it still feels very well polished in most parts. Choices made in gameplay affect the story in both large and small ways (no spoilers). Gameplay and story cutscenes flow together extremely well.

Do note that you might need to remove overlay apps to get the game to run correctly. For whatever reason, the game believes it's out of DRAM when overlays are enabled. This includes the NVIDIA and Steam overlays. After turning those off, I didn't have any crashes or other major bugs.

It's very rare for a game to make me shed a tear, but this one managed several. This game deserves every bit of praise it's accumulated over the years, and perhaps a bit more.

If you're into the Project Diva games on other consoles then this is pretty much just the rhythm game portion of that. No interactions with the characters, no decorations or anything like that. Most of the charts are fair. The biggest plus is the mods. Grab DivaModLoader and google for the spreadsheet of "MM+ Song ID's with Mods" [sic]. Eden project is the easiest one to get working and it has a lot of songs. You also might want the high framerate and DivaNoSpy mods to reduce the amount of stuttering that the anti-piracy measure can cause.

Disable the Item Unlock key before launching if you want to unlock modules and stuff manually. Do that by clicking on the game, going to settings -> DLC -> uncheck item unlock key.

This is one of the first rhythm games I've ever played, but it's really fun for a guy that plays piano in his free time. My friends make fun of me for playing this, but honestly it's really fun to go for high scores and beat higher and higher difficulty charts. Those 10* charts are really difficult!

Extremely fun and addictive. Pick this up if you want your productivity to plummet, as it's really hard to put down.

Base game is good, side stories are VERY good, but the add-on lore is mediocre. Play the original DDLC first, and buy this if you enjoyed it and want more.

I consider Stardew Valley to be my favorite game of all time. It is well deserving of its current 98% positive rating on Steam.

Stardew Valley has a very similar feel to a game like Minecraft, where a lot of the joy of the game is figuring out what stuff does and how to make your gameplay more efficient. There's a surprisingly large amount of stuff to do in the valley: Romance a neighbor, slay monsters and mine in the caverns, farm out food for profits, fish up a catch, or forage for food to eat. Every day of Stardew is 15 minutes long, and there's pretty much no point in the early and middle games where there isn't something to do. However, the game is essentially self-paced as there's essentially no missable content, even if you take 15 in-game years to go mining for the first time. The only issue is that this game is pretty dependent on having a wiki (again, a lot like Minecraft).

Nearly every aspect of Stardew Valley feels polished and purposeful and there's a clear progression for each profession you might decide you like beyond simply leveling up. Do you like to farm? Upgrade your sprinklers and tools. Want to fish? Here's a better fishing rod that can have bait and tackle on it. More of a mining/combat player? Here's a new mine that has more dangerous enemies but greater reward. Even after completing the main "objective" of the game there is a lot of postgame progression.

There's also a lot of room for creativity in the way your farm is arranged or the way your house is decorated. Personally, I'm an engineering kind of guy, so I don't have the eye for making things look good, but there are thousands of pictures of people making beautiful farms and cabins online.

Stardew valley really is a gem and really scratches the itch for a numbers-oriented game (I love optimizing for profit), while also allowing for a lot creativity in problem-solving and decoration. Each of the characters each has a serviceable enough story to keep them interesting. There's also 8 player multiplayer, which allows for a lot of fun and teamwork, as it allows for each farmhand to focus on different tasks and pool their resources.

Finally, this game is moddable to the extreme. I'd recommend playing through the game without mods first, and then maybe after a couple of in-game years, throw on some QOL mods like a chest manager or an NPC schedule viewer. I also like the aesthetic mods like reflective water and mods that allow for better lighting based on time of day.

Pick this game up. It is definitely worth 15 USD, and is well deserving of its place in the top 50 best-selling games of all time.

A gaming classic that still looks remarkably good to this day, with an outstanding extension of the Half-Life 1 story. Gameplay has aged well and is neither brainlessly easy nor teeth-grindingly hard. Highly recommended.

Very good game. It hasn't aged great, but it is still 100% worth 10 USD.
