Having played over 10 hours, I feel I have gotten enough of a grasp on this game to give it a review. Keep in mind that this game is in Pre-Alpha so there are going to be a lot of bugs and place holders. However, this game runs very well and all the core components also work realitively well, which is a suprise considiring it is in Pre-Alpha stages. The developers have released patches every 2-3 days that add features and bug fixes. This game is a lot more challanging then its Arma counterpart. So if you are used to being able to have everything at your fingertips within a hour or two. You will be suprised on how long it takes just to find some of the items, like guns. Do not be suprised if you die of thirst within the first 30 minutes you play. Like in real life it is best not to go it alone. Try and find a buddy! But be careful a lot of players will not hesistate to kill you! Players are not the only danger you will face. The zombies are not quite as numerouse in this standalone verison. However, they can be a challange if you do not have a axe or a gun. Also, zombies can run through walls so don't think you will be safe inside a building after you have closed the door. You can however effectively loose them by weaving in and out of buldings. Keep plently of bandages handy! Espeially in the early stages of the game (You can rip T-Shirts into rags just in case you start to bleed!). This game is pretty fun, and I do recommend it if you have the patience to rome around for hours looking for items. There is a lot to explore and most of the buldings are enterable. Note that any buildings that have open doors have probably already been searched. So it is probably best to walk on by. Though it is possible to find goodies that other playes have missed. Surviving in this world requires patience and cunning and can be fustrating. However, the rusults can be very rewarding. Give this game a go, it is worth it. This game will only get better. I also believe this game will also start going up in price as it leaves Pre-Alpha into Alpha and then Beta. Get a copy and try your luck at surviving a zombie apocalypse!

This game was obviously rushed into release. Having getting this game while it was clearly still in the "Alpha" stages of production there were quite a few issues. However as a few months have gone by and almost seven patches later Total War: Rome II is a MUCH better game and definenlty worth a second look.

Give it a try! I have enjoyed this game and while not the best Total War game in the series it still is a very enjoyable game to play. Especially if you download some of the mods which only enhance this experience!

This game is well worth a look! If you are interested in World War II and love planes this game is hands down the best WWII airplane game since IL2 1946! This is a free to play game and is very well made. The graphics are top notch and the game machanics are very well done. Not to mention the very good optimization of the game as well. Even if you do not like planes the developers are going to be realeasing both tanks and ships to the game in the near future with tanks coming first! I have played a lot of World of Tanks and have logged almost 440 flight hours in to this game. I do believe this is a far better game! If the ground forces are even half as good as the planes this game it will hands down beat World of Tanks!

As excited as I was for this game I am deeply dissapointed it did not meet my expectations. Though the story is not bad the game istelf feels like it was put to gether far too quickly and the people making it (Gearbox Sofware) didn't care to much for the franchise itself. I would love to say this game did the Alien universe justice but I would not be speaking the truth. Although they were able to do a great job with the sounds and music of the game they failed to achieve so much more. For example, the Aliens themselves in single player feel rather retarded and nonthreatening. You will have to play this game on the hardest difficulty for it to feel the least bit challenging. Also, if you are looking for an amazing graphical experience you will again be extremely dissapointed. Though the Multyplayer experience is slightly better it still leaves much to be desired. I would ask that you wait to purchase this game until its 75% off. That is if you really feel you want to get this game. Other Alien related games such as Aliens vs Predator achieved far better results and would make a better buy.

This game is very well done. It has a lot of similarities to other first person shooters. Those who are new to the game will find it to be new yet familiar. It runs on the Unreal engine and looks stunning because of this. Make no mistake if you buy this you should not buy it for the shooting aspect. This is a game about dinosaurs and nothing else. This game is very smooth running and all classes in game (10) all have thier own weaknesses and strengths. Playing as a dinosaur you will find yourself immersed into the world and ready to tear up some mercanaries (Humans). There is nothing like taking the reigns of a T. Rex eating and stomping your way through the very beautifully crafted maps. Working as a group is the key to survival in this primal world. This is especially true for humans. In this game man is no longer on top of the food chain. I have been waiting for a very good dinosaur game and folks Lukewarm Media did not disappoint! Please pick up this game and give it a go!!

One of the very first games I ever played on a gaming PC. Very fun WW2 first person shooter. This game is a fun game if your looking for a fast paced shooter.

If you like listening to music this game is for you. Nothing like listening to your favorite jams and cruising on a course collecting color blocks for points. This is a good game to spend the time. The courses and built by your songs. What I mean is that if it's a fast song it will build a all down hill course and where if its a slow song it will be all uphill. It's very fun to try and beat your friends high scores and recieves E-mails that you have been dethroned lol.

Best combat flight sim EVER. If you love flight sims this is the best one out there. Hours and hours of fun.

L4D is an AWESOME game. This game still remains fun however we are introduced to new characters both non infected and infected. Though I like the new infected becouse it adds more diversity and new gameplay machanics. I am not such a big fan of the new characters. I love the original four (Francis, Bill, Zoey, Louis) and I find these four (Coach, Ellis, Nick, Rochelle) less then appealing. I was very excited to see the new expansion that added the new characters back to L4D2 but was very upset at the fact (*SPOILER ALERT*) that Bill died. I would of rather seen one of the new ones dead. I found L4D a lot more fun and creepy then L4D2. Still a good game but not as great as its predecessor. Like the Original L4D you will have more fun with friends since pubs can be absolute idiots. This is a fun game and would recommend it. Killing zombies never gets old.
