The Talos Principle is an excellent example of great first-person puzzle game design that also includes a fantastic plot. The game challenges the player's perceptions not only within the game but also outside of it. The puzzles increase in difficulty as the player progresses, with optional puzzles being the most challenging. This game is most similar to Portal, although it has more open spaces and includes different tools to complete the puzzles.
