I don't typically review games that cross my library unless I consider them truly exceptional.

One of the things that has remained consistently true across the issues Helldivers 2 has faced is the sincere commitment to their vision, and the community that the developer, Arrowhead has demonstrated.
They are communicative, dedicated and have addressed, in one form or another, almost every issue this game has faced.

With the concerns regarding PSN requirements, and associated concerns related to region locking that had arisen laid to rest for the time being I can confidently say that this game is a must play.

The game itself is a truly delightful satire of the military industrial complex and the propaganda of a fascist state, layered on top of a remarkably enjoyable, if extremely challenging, tactical/horde shooter.
An incredible translation of the original, an isometric twin stick shooter, to a visually impressive and dynamic 3rd person OTS shooter.
