I was kinda disappointed, even though they added some new great things, it had me longing for the original SoC game play. I don't think some things were 100% finnished, and it seems to really need mods to help the game play, which isn't good or bad but for me, personally, but I had a hard time getting the right mods together.

In vanilla gameplay, the first things I realized were wrong were the ak-74u and the gun sounds. They were waaay to quite, kinda unsatisfyng, Thankfully theres a mod for that that isn't so hard to find. The ak-74u on the other hand just looked wierd, the ejection port was on the left side; I had to watch poorly renderd casings come out the wrong side of the gun. A.I., of course, is also bad. It needed mods.

Once I got to modding I saw a lot of great mods, or from the cover they look good. A lot of recent bad reviews kept me from the bigger mods (misery, complete, ect.) so I looked for mods with good reviews. the SGM mods (both 2.2 and geo) were o.k. but still not the expirince I was looking for, So then I tried the a couple of mod packs. Some had this others had that, none were good enough. Now, I finnialy tried misery 2.0 and it was actully really good.

Over all, I give it a 8.5/10 after getting misery, amazing realistic, horror survival game play.
Then I got the "killer mod pack" now it's a 9.5/10, at least.
