A Finnish graphic artist. Writer. Visual artist. Comic book creator. That's what they used to call me.

But that was before… before they punished me. Not with exile. Not with death. No. They forced me to play Mirage. Over and over. Bad aim was my sin. Mirage… my prison.

I was known once—back then—for my children's books. Koiramäki. The Kalevala. Seven Brothers. I gave those old tales new life for kids who still believed in heroes. Heh. Heroes. What a joke.

Then there were the comics… Nyrok City. Piitles. Anarchistic, chaotic… they were my Outer Heaven. My rebellion on paper. But that was before I got pulled into this phantom war of low ranks, repetition and mediocrity.

I read detective novels. It's the only intel I still enjoy decrypting. Rex Stout's Nero Wolfe… a real operator. The rest—Agatha Christie, Quentin Patrick, Ellery Queen—good, once. But I've combed through those files too many times. Their secrets are spent. No more surprises.

I used to create. Now I endure.
