A surprisingly good Star Wars game from a company notorious for turning out bad Star Wars games. Well done EA.

This game isn't as good as Blood Money but not as bad as Absolution. The AI is unfortunately pretty stupid. Things that they aught to see and hear they don't like me hanging off a balcony or ledge above the AI or walking right behind a guard and opening a door are a couple examples and then they see things they shouldn't be able to I've had AI manage to some how spot a body that was not in their field of view. Other times AI would glitch out by teleporting around the level. I've seen Victor Novikov from the Paris Level do this when I poisoned him and he teleported straight to the restroom. I also miss how you would earn money from successful hits that you could use to buy more weapons gadets and upgrades for them. Would of been really nice to have in this game since IO wants to make each location as replayable as possible as it goes about releasing new locations as DLC. I'd be willing to recommend this game if IO at least makes the AI a little more smarter and less glitchy.

My pros and cons on the game:

Day 1 DLC. It's probably a sure bet theres a Blood pack on the way that CA will be offering for 5 dollars which is very annoying. It was annoying when they did that in Shogun 2 and Rome 2 But To have the Chaos Warriors ( A very major faction) to be available only for DLC, or free for pre-order or if you buy the game with-in the first week is really really infuriating. I don't for one second believe CA's excuse that if they don't release DLC packs they go bust. They are a multi-million dollar company owned buy a larger multi-billion dollar company. This is just pure greed and though I wish they would stop this, they are not going to any time soon.

The Graphics. I personally don't have a issue really with the graphics but when I compare the in game graphics now with the trailers, it seems that CA decided to slightly water down the graphics. They kinda look on par with Shogun 2's graphics. But like I said, I don't have a issue with it. I only mention this because some people might take issue with it. Many people complained that they had performance issues with the game. I can't say that I'm one of them. In fact out of all the total war games I own, this one played the best. And I have alot of the graphic options set to high/ultra. But I'm also got a I7 cpu and a 4gb Nvida 960. Even though CA decided to go with AMD I still get good performance.

Siege battles. The Siege battles are very limited. You only can only siege a large cityl. There are no small forts or villages you can sack. You can set the level of the tower defense and thats it. And when I say section of a city, I mean that literally. CA came up with this Idea where most of the city is outside the playable area of the level map. I read somewhere the reason for this was that having a smaller area to play in, it improved the AI. From what I could gather this seems to of paid off. The AI seems to work well enough where I didn't see it glitch out like what was known in Rome 2. I even seen it do something rather smart when It choose to order troops to abandon a battering ram in the middle of the field when it managed to break down the gates to a city using monstrous units instead.

Aside from CA being big money grubbing mizers with the day one DLC that should NOT of been DLC (Chaos faction), hopefully the future DLC will be at least worth while. I think we can expect to see Elves and Dark Elves and maybe the Skaven... and of course a Blood Pack. Also keep in mind, Total War games have always been performance hogs. I wana give people the benefit of a doubt but it to me seems more likely that the ones who claim this game is poorly optimized, probably just barely meet minimum system requirements. And as I said before I'm not even playing this game on a AMD PC and for me this game has so far been the best performer out of last 3 total war games that came out.

I just don't feel that this game is worth 50 dollars. I don't think its worth even 35 dollars on the summer sale. Other than 3D graphics its the same as the first Stronghold Crusader game. I wanted to refund this game but I went over the 2 hour gameplay limit.

The stupid peons in my town froze to death cause they couldn't be bothered to work at the lumbers mills i ordered them to build. Tried again only this time they starved to death cause they chose to not work the fields or hunt/fish. There are other city games 100x better

Didn't find any of the humor in the game funny. Not even a little. Which was the only reason why I bought the game. The gameplay doesn't change a whole lot with each class so the classes in general are kinda redundant. Theres not much reason to wana play it again after finishing it so I suggest renting this on a console. I also encounterd problems during cutscenes where the framerate in cutscenes for some reasong would just come to a crawl while the audio would keep playing normally and advance ahead of what was actually going on.
